Correct, defeats happen, its part of football.
I remember 2007-2008 and losing a game early in the season to a very very average team, we ended up winning the league and european cup ;P
 
Newton Heath was a village independant of Manchester until 1890. After manyoo had formed and left...so technically etc....
(Gorton became a part of Manchester in 1830, by the way)

well done sir - you know your history! I've been using this argument with rag relatives for years - the scum have NEVER been from Manchester!

All my family, like myself from NH....uncles used to always bring that little gem up when rags mentioned NH being their 'home'. ; )
