Instead of asking if Pellegrini is better than Mancini you should be asking if he's better than no manager at all. And when you talk about loyalty, you should be asking whether someone who signs a 5 year contract then announces he has no intention of seeing it through is showing any loyalty.

when did he say that? must of missed that
Me too.....
I think what PB is trying to say is that Mancini is cutting and running, leaving us in the lurch, so to speak.

Which is why the meeting between Begiristain and Martinez was in public. It's been funny seeing people get all hot under the collar about undermining Mancini blah, blah, blah when Mancini knows full well what is happening because he precipitated the situation.

I don't think Pelligrini fancies Millwall

I'm sure we will see what is to be very soon and I'm also sure that whatever happens, us Blues will still be supporting the manager next season.

That's why he's all smiles. Pity he can't bring himself to do that at pitchside.
He'll have somethin lined up in Italy. I'll wish him well, but won't miss him.

It's absolutely crucial going forward that we have stability. just look at Chelsea. They have had some of the biggest names manage them since Mourinho left and chopping n' changing every season has been the key reason they haven't been doing as well as they should. The situation at that club is a shambles and we don't want it anywhere near our club.

Is Pellegrini really an upgrade on Mancini? I don't think he is, and to be honest, I don't care either way. Roberto has done a great job over the last 3 and a half years, sometimes under some very testing circumstances. But he has never let us down. Now it's time we show a bit of loyalty to the man who delivered arguably the greatest season in this clubs history.

Replace him and it's back to square one again. Surely the owner and his reps see this?

Come on then show us the quotes?

You want to watch him smile pitchside? What if he danced a jig every time he made a substitution, would that help?
