Definitely possible, a well connected ex City player told me this morning that he expects the change to happen ....

Source Daz ?

Ask yourself this...will the rags appoint Pellegrini or even be linked with him? No. If he's not good enough for them then he is not good enough for City.

I very much doubt any current players have the inside track to what's happening behind the scenes never mind an ex. The fact that Cheeseman is a rag who tries to destabilise us with nonsense on a regular basis doesn't have me rushing to buy my Chilean scarf just yet..

I've mistaken it for ladyman not cheeseman - time to go to specsavers..

Moyes isn't good enough for City...

Exactly and that's not the owners attitude and hopefully not that of leading executives. One man rules all in the end and not in the dictatorial way Abramovich does.

There might be people equally as good out there but the question for me is whether Mancini is good enough. He's already proven that far as I'm concerned. Two bad European campaigns (albeit twice in succession)isn't the be all and end all.

Pellegrini has managed one huge club but he's done absolutely nothing to remotely merit replacing Mancini. At least with someone like Mourinho with his record there would be some sign of logic behind it (not that I want Mancini replaced at all)

as from today utd are weaker, much weaker. lets not weaken ourselves. any manager they get in will need "time", mancini has done his "time" and we are ahead of them for the first time in decades. would be criminal to give this opportunity up.

Good point well made.
I don't understand this logic. If Mancini isn't deemed good enough then what any other club does has no bearing on us. If the board of Sainsbury set their CEO a target of higher sales, better margins and opening a number of new stores and he mees one, partly meets the other and completely fails to meet the third then they'll sack him. They won't take into account the fact that the long-serving, highly successful Tesco CEO has retired. In fact, they'll see it as an opportunity to push on with someone new while the competition might take a step back.
