Manchester City Millions Ruin Football

I agree that it's not Manchester City's fault. I'm just calling for a bit of reasoning here. For years, ourselves, City supporters, Arsenal supporters etc took the piss out of Chelsea for "buying trophies" and that they wouldn't be anywhere without money because they were a medium sized club compared to the likes of Arsenal.

This now applies to Manchester City, who, if we're being honest, isn't even the biggest club in Manchester.

at least City are spending money on good players, Liverpool are spending money on pure shjt...

Yep you're right - Gareth Barry, Jolean Lescott, Gael Clichy and Savic would get into any team in Europe.

You've just quoted three of our most consistent players, so yeah they would get in to most teams in Europe.

Two things. Firstly, if 'oil money' is bad then why was your club whoring it's way around the middle east? DIC ring any bells.

And slagging off Barry when the great RAFA wanted him as well. Dear oh dear you do have selective memory.

Your wind up is pretty piss poor though in all fairness. Now fuck off back to RAWK where you can wallow with the rest of the fuckers about istreeeeeeeeee and such things.

History is what what makes BIG clubs. Liverpool can be mentioned in the same breath as Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona and I hate to admit it; Manchester United.

Don't knock it.

The start of the PL and the revamped CL are what ruined football money wise, especially the CL. Same teams in it year after year, getting multi millions from being in it which they spent to improve thier teams and kept the rest at arms length. Apart from the odd Blip ie Us last year, Spurs year before, its been the same old year after year. To get into that section, of course your going to have to spend serious money to be contenders.

But this isn't about Liverpool's money. Man City were a nothing club before oil money was injected into it.

Liverpool have the history and tradition, they are one of the biggest clubs in the world and didn't need oil money to establish this. We were winning European Cups when there wasn't a lot of money in football.

And it doesn't matter what argument you put out - every other football person in the world will see City's achievements because of the oil money. Exactly the same with Chelsea in the past.

Keep telling youre self that History is all you have ...... Man City (OIL MONEY) is making HISTORY

Yep, in the North West pecking order, in terms of 'istory we're probably behind Everton, but look at where we are now. We're stuffing all and sundry, making them look like mugs. Your own club is slipping further down the league every season and you hate it. You're not even a top 4 club now. LFC is dying and MCFC is flying. You look at us and we are celebrating and loving every minute of it. You are so green with envy that it makes you feel sick. Get used to that feeling.

Tick tock

On football 365 website there was a poll on who is the best footballer outside the top 6.
Alot of people said Suarez....ouch

Difference is, those clubs are still big clubs. Preston & Blackpool were big once.

Playing Liverpool is no more exciting than playing an Everton or Bolton nowadays.

Rather have them than Carrol, Downing and Adams.

This is what a lot of City fans seem to think, that we're jealous of your money. We're not in any way. Your stadium is still half empty every other week. There's still no atmosphere at the COMS. Your supporters even copy another clubs celebration when your team scores. Whenever I go on holiday, I still see Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal shirts in many bars and resorts. Not a City one in sight.

I'd never trade our history, reputation and honours for oil money. Never.
