Manchester City ship

I always thought it was port, starboard, Forrid and aft?
Not sure how you spell forrid but that's how it is pernounced
You go forard to the bow and you go aft to the stern, port is left with the red light and strbrd is right with the green light, happy sailing lol

I only know this because in Scouts in the 70's we played a game called Ships (i think?)
We all stood in the middle and the leader would shout one direction and we all had to leggit to which ever end or side it was. Last one there was out etc.....
It was port, starboard, forard or aft....

Always stuck in my head that

Can’t access my notes at the moment but from memory there was a Manchester Liners ship specifically named after Manchester City that was named shortly after the 1937 League title.

I notice some have talked of the train… there were 2 named after MCFC. The 1st had its name changed to Tottenham Hotspur as there was an event the Spurs train was needed for, so the 1st Manchester City train lasted only a short time.

There you go… the 1937 was specifically named after City because of the title success.

HMS Trafford for comparison
