Manchester City v Dynamo Kiev - Second Leg.

Re: Tonight: Go For It or Risk It

from comments made by RM in the press im guessing tev wont be playing tonight (probably on the bench)

Im not sure RM knows how to go for it.....the fact that he has never in his career come from 2 goals down is a slightly worrying fact (according to him this is the case). It is this game where we have nothing to lose that he needs to unshackle the team but Im not convinced he will. He is already using terms like we have to be patient.....if it were utd and fergiscum they would just throw everything at the opponent and go for it...and probably get the result they need.

His over cautiousness while i can accept it (just) in games like the chelski game this weekend, I will find irritating if he does it tonight. He has shown in the past that he can send out a team to attack and attack well....lets hoe he shows it again tonight..

go for it with al guns blazing for the first 45, if it becomes hopeless early, tell them to save their strength and treat the rest of the game as a practice session.

Unfortunately, Mancini clearly intends to just keep doing the same old, same old as per the OS:

Same boring defensive crap hoping to nick some goals through individual moments of brilliance. Yeah!

Exactly, you likely won't concede if you dominate posession and absolutely plaster their net with shots, which we should be capable of doing and need to do given the hole we need to climb out of.
