tbh I think it will suit us that Southampton will come and play football - main thing, apart from winning, is no booking for Vinny and Zaba

I think if Vinny gets a yellow he is still eligable for Liverppol mate.

All comps maybe, he got booked against Arse bringing him up to 9 domestic yellows, the Southampton one is the last he can get banned if he picks up a yellow, then it'll be a 2 match ban (Liverpool[a], Sunderland[h]). He's definitely not on 10, SS would have been harping on about it on Saturday if he was going to miss the Pool game.

I'd be tempted not to play zaba v southampton if that's the case then, cause we're really gonna need him to help try and keep liverpool at bay at anfield and it would be infuriating if he got banned for making a brilliant tackle as he always seems to

Yep, so he can't get a ban before season end unless he gets sent off or does something really stupid.

They are the perfect warm-up for the Scousers. They play a similar style to them but without as much quality. Will be a tough game, still. We usually find ourselves with less of a high quality performance against teams who press high with a high tempo. But we should still win. Then onto Anfield.

I can't wait for the next two weeks!
