You're not trying very hard then.

For example, after the biting,

"Nicol, a former Liverpool defender and ESPNFC analyst, criticized Rodgers' handling of the incident, saying that Suarez has disgraced the club and the standards at Anfield are dropping.

"Brendan Rodgers is the face of the club," Nicol said. "He represents the fans, the players, the chairman and the rest of the board. Luis Suarez has absolutely let all these people down."

Rodgers has publicly backed the striker, saying: "he hasn't let me down one bit, not at all."
A former Liverpool player discussing something about the current Liverpool manager is doing/has done, and the Liverpool manager responding - how would that make you hate him? It's not like he's said 'That Chippy Boy over yonder in manchester, he's a right ****, him', is it? How many times did Mancini back Balotelli, despite most of us knowing he shouldn't be near the club, let alone playing games? What would you expect Rogers to say of his own player? Upset the balance of how things are going and agree with Nicol? Easily offended much?

So let me get this straight, you think I can't stand the man because of this single quote? Is that what you are saying? I think you are probably not that stupid.

And, actually, it was an outrageous thing to say. He should have said "I will stand by my players, but biting has no place in this sport" or something like that.

The guy is a grade 1 twat.
What difference does it make to you? You're not a Liverpool fan, are you?

How many penalties have they had this season I wonder? 3 at the swamp (about as many as Baconface allowed in 20 years) and 2 again yesterday.

I think the man in black is going to play a huge part in how the game pans out, unfortunately.
Someone said 12 yesterday. Not surprising with their style of play. We have had 7, I think was also mentioned.

I think 4 or 5 alone have come from Suarez's habit of flicking the ball up so it strikes an unwary defender on the arm and then yelling for handball. Nothing wrong with that (what some call clever and others call distasteful) but I'd be surprised if our defenders fall for it.

In the words of Thom Yorke, he talks too much, he buzzes like a fridge, it's making me feel ill.
Good manager though.
Thom Yorke is an insufferable bore.
Tut tut. This is a conversation we should have in the Cellar after we beat the dippers.

-- Mon Apr 07, 2014 9:11 am --

If I was MP I'd be highlighting these ball-to-hand incidents to the referee all week as you can bet Rodgers will be going on about Yaya's dive and various selective offside calls.

What I'd like to see:

------------------Hart-----------------------
Zaba--Kompany--Demichelis--Clichy
-----------------Garcia---------------------
------------Yaya-----Fernandinho------
--------Silva---------------------Jovetic
-------------------Aguero-------------

What I expect to see:

-------------------Hart-----------------------
Zaba--Kompany--Demichelis--Clichy
--------------Yaya--Fernandinho--
Navas----------Silva-------------Nasri
------------------Dzeko-----------------

(Not that I'd be disappointed with the latter!)

I know telling people not to worry is futile, but don't worry. Manuel and Vinny will have the team and themselves
right up for this game. I have a good feeling about this one. We are the best team in the league and will prove it
next Sunday.

I can't think of anything he's done, to be honest, to warrant such hatred.

Hatred's a strong word, but ever since that "3 names in an envelope" cornfest, I've found it hard to take him seriously. The rubbish he came out with after their defeat at the Etihad in December didn't help any either.

Am I not allowed to dislike people Pidge? I just can't stand the bloke, that is all.

Hart

Zabaleta
VK
MDM
Kolarov

Fernandinho
Yaya

Milner
Silva
Jovetic

Aguero

Milner to stiffen the midfield, Kolarov to push their right wing back (think they'll go diamond in this in a bid to limit Yaya and Merlin anyway) Jovetic and Aguero both on the pitch to give their slipshod, leaky, clumsy defence plenty of pace and movement to think about, as well as having to make an early call on where the striker will be running in from. I'd love to start Garcia, but I think we need to push Pool back early on and try to take the lead, if we're ahead in the second half, I'd bring him on for one of Jovetic/Aguero and bring one of our no.9s for the other, push Yaya forward to catch them on the break. Nasri or Navas would be the other sub.

Anyone been following that RAWK_Meltdown account on Twitter? Was tweeting some gems from deluded Bin Dippers yesterday when you scored the second goal.

They are hypocrites over there - they are convinced that you are getting all the ref decisions now that Fergie has gone.

I think cheating on your wife with a co-worker opens a person up to ridicule
