I don't quite get the hate for Rodgers. I actually think he's alright.
I can't think of anything he's done, to be honest, to warrant such hatred.
I think cheating on your wife with a co-worker opens a person up to ridicule
Fathering a rapist too. (allegedly)

The game will be won or lost in the first ten minutes

The ten minutes which proceed kick-off, the tributes, the silences, the Kop in full voice.

In doubt any of our players will have experienced such a surreal atmosphere before.

Make no mistake, we should know better than most how a set of fans can play a part like we did against United THAT night.

Not sure we have enough of the right stuff in terms of numbers to get a result.

I saw nothing from Liverpool today to lose sleep over, but teams which carry motivation can move mountains and play a few levels above, even relegation threatened ones.

No way Aguero starts this and same goes for Nasri, he doesn't have it in his locker to mentally perform in a game such as this.

I would say a victory for us would be the best performance in a couple of decades.

We will win this title but it won't rest on what happens next Sunday.

I seem to remember us winning away at a certain other ground on a certain anniversary. Seemed to affect them more than it did us. Hoping for the same again!

Play like we did in the first half against Southampton or the 2nd half against Arsenal and we WILL lose.
Play like we did against United and we WILL win.
What City will turn up?
The ones with the big balls or the wasters?

Delusional at its best. Cheating , refs on our side? Sterling against you lot Christmas time was flagged offside. Couple of other offsides haven't been given against you. Ie Southampton on Saturday. You choose to see just the decisions opponents get.

Fuck off you scouse bastard, how many pens have you had this season?

Yaya

Milner

Jovetic

Aguero

Milner to stiffen the midfield, Kolarov to push their right wing back (think they'll go diamond in this in a bid to limit Yaya and Merlin anyway) Jovetic and Aguero both on the pitch to give their slipshod, leaky, clumsy defence plenty of pace and movement to think about, as well as having to make an early call on where the striker will be running in from. I'd love to start Garcia, but I think we need to push Pool back early on and try to take the lead, if we're ahead in the second half, I'd bring him on for one of Jovetic/Aguero and bring one of our no.9s for the other, push Yaya forward to catch them on the break. Nasri or Navas would be the other sub.

So Jovetic, who hasn't started a game since Moses was a boy, is going to start in the biggest game of the season? I think not.

Rodgers in the media again saying all the pressures on city, does he not see that stadium full of scousers all wanting and praying to win the league for the first time in 24years !! How can he say there's no pressure on his team and expect people to swallow it ?? Mourinho the 2nd.

You're not trying very hard then.

For example, after the biting,

"Nicol, a former Liverpool defender and ESPNFC analyst, criticized Rodgers' handling of the incident, saying that Suarez has disgraced the club and the standards at Anfield are dropping.

"Brendan Rodgers is the face of the club," Nicol said. "He represents the fans, the players, the chairman and the rest of the board. Luis Suarez has absolutely let all these people down."

Rodgers has publicly backed the striker, saying: "he hasn't let me down one bit, not at all."
A former Liverpool player discussing something about the current Liverpool manager is doing/has done, and the Liverpool manager responding - how would that make you hate him? It's not like he's said 'That Chippy Boy over yonder in manchester, he's a right ****, him', is it? How many times did Mancini back Balotelli, despite most of us knowing he shouldn't be near the club, let alone playing games? What would you expect Rogers to say of his own player? Upset the balance of how things are going and agree with Nicol? Easily offended much?

So let me get this straight, you think I can't stand the man because of this single quote? Is that what you are saying? I think you are probably not that stupid.

And, actually, it was an outrageous thing to say. He should have said "I will stand by my players, but biting has no place in this sport" or something like that.

The guy is a grade 1 twat.

As opposed to the wonderful specimen that you have in charge? Even though he becomes bitter as fuck when his team drops a point or so? Grow up ffs! What he says about his players has absolutely nothing to do with you has it, hope he shuts you up on Sunday like I think he will do.
