He won us the league, we got rid. Let's stop all this shite and move on.

I can be really arrogant myself, when i interact with fucking idiots who knows fuck all. like the general public.
But in the end, it was probably for the best for all parties that we parted ways. Now im looking forward to next season
That is precisely what I think the club's attitude about this is.ManCitizens. said:He won us the league, we got rid. Let's stop all this shite and move on.
bellbuzzer said:this is getting to be a machiavellian soap opera. The club feeling it necessary to "black" RM's reputation is very hard to believe, with so little to gain,if anything. The press, on the other hand..........
While we all kick over the ashes of RM's departure we are missing the huge changes that have occured at the club in the last 48 hours on an unprecedented scale. It seems next season we will have new personnel in every department, virtually a new club run in a new way.
The ex Barca Boys have come in, taken stock and are now presiding over the birth of New City. (horrible expression) . Along with Kaldoun they will be all-powerful, they will need all their experience recruiting the right people and all in time for the new season.
I believe we all thought that we would see the biggest changes on the pitch, with tinkering going on in the background, which most of us are not really arsed about. This is where the "holistic approach" comes in, with every element integrating.
In street speak, they are going to run the club like we all thought it was run.

Exactly, we don't need to slag him off. He did great things for the club but we decided we needed somebody else.
Fans don't need to slate him to justify our clubs decision.

You get out with your sensible and level headed reasonings.
Of course I agreed with you. The people that matter--the club and the fans-- agree. I'm fairly certain they're all running the same stuff because the club is adhering to its closely controlled releases with no leaks.MSP said:Of course they want it to go quet but only after they position themselves good before that.
I'm pretty sure you agreed with me on Monday when I said there's no chance Mancini was telling the truth when he was publicly presented himself as victim who is getting stabbed in the back without knowing anything.
He did it to make his settlement negotiation position stronger but in same time those words were seen in public like another proof of lack of class from MCFC.
Now MCFC wants to take care that view is cancelled. These articles that are running on all major papers are almost identical and are definitely coming from one source. There is only one source it could be. They are nothing major, pretty soft response that was pretty much well known in public but it was needed after Mancini's comments.
I don't expect it to go further and to become more dirty as I'm sure both sides wouldn't like it but this had to be done to even things.
