Fecking hell - some of you need to lie down.

Apparently it's open season on City, from our own fans.

Mancini can do no wrong.

However, Begiristain, Soriano, Khaldoon, Sheikh Mansour, Vicky Kloss, and others are all incompetent.

Mancini has done a truly superb job of deflection.
I have supported Mancini for most of his tenure as City manager. But irrespective of that, I must completely agree with this. The reaction of some City fans is frankly baffling.

I am grateful to Mancini for his work at the club. And it's reasonable to have misgivings - even anger - at the way that this was handled, which seemed to undermine our cup final (not that that is an excuse, mind). But the way some people are undermining the club and siding with Mancini is simply absurd.

Incidentally, Mancini's reaction to this situation - especially the absurd rant at Vicky Kloss - and his continual slagging off of his superiors make it quite clear why he's leaving. I'm confident that replacing him is the right decision, even if the manner of it is unfortunate to say the least.

Brennan and Custis were both writing Mancini was going nowhere just recently.

Mancini has made enemies across every facet of the club over the last 12 months.

And his ridicule of Vicky Kloss is a disgrace, especially in front of her at Wembley to a small press contingent, highly embarrassing.

Firstly, she is a blue.

Secondly, she is decent at her job.

She gets told what to say and when to say it, nothing more.

I might not agree with some of City's policy towards the media, but Mancini has pissed on a lot of chips.

Sorry but this is bolox.

And you know this because .... ? No its fucking guesswork, like a load of other shit written about her.

I know it because I, like everyone else have seen how the press have treated the club over the last number of years.

I don't know if you have an inside line into how Txiki and Ferran operate but anything they have done has been under the radar. I can't see any impact externally since they arrived, except for maybe a destabalising of the power balance.

From the outside it looks like Marwood and Vicky have been responsible for numerous debacles relating to the manager of the football club, he is the most important man at the club. Bobby has been undermined by those working against him which is a fucking disgrace if you ask me.

Or you could look at it that he has tried to shaft both of them and its backfired. I don't know either way as I don't have the esp powers some on here have.

What I do know is Mancini appeasrs to have this season criticized at least 2 club employees in public. Neither of them having the ability to reply

If someone isn't performing, from the playing staff to the tea lady, then he has the right to criticize in whatever way he feels fit.

Ferguson has criticized everyone at United over the years and not only gotten away with it.

Let me put it this way.. A fucking PR executive isn't going to win us the Premier League next season.. so see ya Vicky love. The manager should be number 1.

I totally agree he can criticize who he wants, only try doing it in private or at a meeting or over a cup of tea. No I don't think I will thanks I will do it in press in public. Classless. As for Vicky not winning it next year well it looks like your beloved won't be either so see ya too

Sorry but I don't remember Ferguson criticizing his own staff. His own players, when they are being shipped out. But I've never heard him criticize the chairman. In fact he's defended the Glazers over all the fan outcry because he knows the club has to stick together whatever. I'm actually a fan of Mancini's, but you can't deny he's done a good job of isolating himself this season. He's stuck the knife into players, staff and the board.

I don't understand what you're saying, explain it me through a youtube video.

People are always polarised in their opinions Tolmie..

can you consider for a second that Mancini has been undermined this season and is fighting a battle that no manager should ever have to fight within a well run football club.

the manager should have the unwavering support of every employee within a well run football club, until the day he is out the door.

Eh?

Mancini's been quite happy criticising his players, falling out with senior execs, firing long-term employees and engaging in jobs-for-the-boys with his mates for years.

He lived by the sword, he died by the sword.

so basically being a manager of a football club?

Give it up, you are like a dog with a bone.

You are saying everyone should be loyal to a manager, even if he is being a prick and trying to undermine everyone around him to cover up his fuck ups.
Give over.

Poll: Should Roberto Mancini be sacked?
[ Go to pageGo to page: 1 ... 15, 16, 17 ]

17 pages in chaps and 67% of the fans on this forum say Mancini SHOULDN'T be sacked. Overwhelming and undisputable support for the current manager.
But on Saturday morning it would have been 90% or more

He's the public face of MCFC. One that became successful under him so fans are rightly protective of him. For a while. But the owners and executives get to see the trends and the way the club is developing.

So if Pellegrini got RSC scoring, can we expect Dzeko to now stay and be given service?

I like Dzeko but he was not being used in the correct way. If we did play to his strengths I'd be happy for him to stay.

Over the last 6 seasons, our owner has had some bad advice. Most of the people placed in key positions of the pitch, have been mediocre to awful. We are now seeing a sea change in a lot area's, with the pedigree of those appointments being outstanding. That said, there are still plenty of traitors working for the club, but as Pepsi says, we are looking at getting everything moving in the right direction. Ajax showed how continuity can overcome better opposition (well on paper), their players know where their teammates are, the moment they get the ball, because a good percentage have been doing those drills from the age of 8!. At some point we have to make that jump. I do have concerns about the amateurish way we have dealt with the media from the get go and we need a real statement of intent in the transfer window this summer, or some far more serious concerns will be raised.
I would rather we backed Mancini, but if we are to replace him, then De Boer who be a better bet.

Again a very good choice but Pellegrini has better experience in handling the egos and all the shit Mancini has created.

So Kloss was present during the interview?

For what reason then? Does she needs the boards approval to intervene or was it just wrong of her to allow some of the questions that were asked?
