So if Pellegrini got RSC scoring, can we expect Dzeko to now stay and be given service?

I like Dzeko but he was not being used in the correct way. If we did play to his strengths I'd be happy for him to stay.

That's one of the things that intrigues me about a new manager - whoever it will be. Will we see the real Dzeko and Nasri? The squad is excellent and vastly underperformed this year - at least some of this is down to Mancini!

Youth player Gabriel Fernando tweeted this then deleted it.

Then he deserves a clip round the ear!

It took us around 12 months to get over the shitty was Hughes was let go in the press, him managing a game knowing he's gone whilst having another manager lined up.

We were crucified in the press for it depsite him being abit shit.

So what do we do the next time we get rid of our most succesful manager in nearly 50 years? we make him manage 3 games (one of them a FA Cup Final) knowing he's been sacked, with another manager lined up.

They should have cancelled the post match presser last night or sent Platt or Kidd out, we havn't even released a statement or briefed the press.

There's been no damage limitatation at all.

Fair enough of you've sacked the bloke (I think this season it was the only option) but give him, and the club some dignity.

This has been an Omnishambles

At last some proper breaking news ssn reporting bobby is happy and is buying new shoes... he is trying them on, having had them brought to him, in the hotel lobby /foyer. Ssn reporter saying Mancini is looking happy and relaxed. so either it was all bollocks or its all been sorted amicably or ... oh who cares he is getting a nice new pair of shoes.

I said words to this effect not more than a couple of months ago and was roundly lambasted. I hope everything does come out so at least those who abused me will have cause to reflect upon the things they said.

.... she is decent at her job.

She gets told what to say and when to say it, nothing more.

So she's decent at saying what she's told to & when to say it? (She does nothing more than that in your own words).

Well, I have to he honest & say that her job doesn' sound terribly difficult to me. I'm sure I could say what I'm told to & I'm sure I'd do it for less money.

Strange though, I always thought there was more to being the Chief Communications Exec at a large company.

Fecking hell - some of you need to lie down.

Apparently it's open season on City, from our own fans.

Mancini can do no wrong.

However, Begiristain, Soriano, Khaldoon, Sheikh Mansour, Vicky Kloss, and others are all incompetent.

Mancini has done a truly superb job of deflection.

Not only does Mancini know his days are numbered, he also knows exactly why that's the case, and he knows that City are in no position as yet to confirm or deny any of this. That's why he was so confrontational in the press conference after the FA Cup Final, he knew there could be no response from the club so it was, in cricketing parlance, a free hit. He's managed to get the media, and a great deal of the fans, on his side by playing the victim/martyr here. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if the "leak" that brought this whole Mancini out/Pellegrini in to the fore at this stage hadn't come from somewhere within the Mancini camp.

Brennan and Custis were both writing Mancini was going nowhere just recently.

Mancini has made enemies across every facet of the club over the last 12 months.

And his ridicule of Vicky Kloss is a disgrace, especially in front of her at Wembley to a small press contingent, highly embarrassing.

Firstly, she is a blue.

Secondly, she is decent at her job.

She gets told what to say and when to say it, nothing more.

I might not agree with some of City's policy towards the media, but Mancini has pissed on a lot of chips.
So Kloss was present during the interview?

For what reason then? Does she needs the boards approval to intervene or was it just wrong of her to allow some of the questions that were asked?

Mancini said Vicky should've done more to stop the stories. Even the journos were surprised by this comment and suggested it was the board's job to give her the mandate to quash the stories and they hadn't so Vicky's hands were tired - which is true.

It's also worth noting that Mancini isn't some wet behind the ears kid who doesn't understand the way the press work or the way big political football clubs like City work. He will have known why the stories weren't being squashed. Again he could've asked Ferran or Khaldoun to instruct Vicky to kill the stories.

What is coming to light is that Mancini's relationship was so poor with so many people behind the scenes that communication was almost non existent.

Both coaches spent more time at lesser clubs where a higher win % is unrealistic. But at top clubs both have improved win %, just like Mancini at Inter and City compared to Lazio and Fiorentina. Klopp 57% at Dortmund, Pellegrini 75% at Real Madrid, Mancini 59% at City.

Exactly the point I'm making. Those win percentage stats are absolute bollocks but people are throwing Pellegrinis around like it automatically makes him a shit manager. You dont get to be Real Madrid manager and if the papers are to be believed courted by us, Barca and PSG if you are a shit manager.
I reckon I wouldn't be too far behind his win % if I had Real's squad at my disposal. Just a thought.............

I reckon I would of won the league this year if I had City's squad at my disposal.

That's exactly the point though - 90%, maybe more, of a manager's performance (unless he's a total buffoon) depends on the resources he's got. Pellegrini has, as far as I can see, if anything outperformed over his career based on the resources he's been given. My view is that you can see who's useless, and (maybe) who's truly exceptional - he's clearly not in the former category and beyond that you just have to trust the professionals we've employed to make a good judgement. They certainly have a better insight than you and me
