Exactly the point I'm making. Those win percentage stats are absolute bollocks but people are throwing Pellegrinis around like it automatically makes him a shit manager. You dont get to be Real Madrid manager and if the papers are to be believed courted by us, Barca and PSG if you are a shit manager.
I reckon I wouldn't be too far behind his win % if I had Real's squad at my disposal. Just a thought.............

I reckon I would of won the league this year if I had City's squad at my disposal.

But I bet you wouldn`t have played Jolean at centre forward. ;)

These same questions will be asked from him before or after the Reading game as well..

Our PR team is still fantasic as we heard it.

As they even made a harlem shake video for fun to put it on youtube to generate great fun feeling around City.

No other PR team like this.

Lets all do the harlem shake.

I totally agree he can criticize who he wants, only try doing it in private or at a meeting or over a cup of tea. No I don't think I will thanks I will do it in press in public. Classless. As for Vicky not winning it next year well it looks like your beloved won't be either so see ya too

a press conference where she was in attendance

shirley it was her job to keep/ steer the questions on track

Bobby should never have had to face those questions

''You said you don’t understand why the club haven’t stopped the reports?''

''Would you be happy to go to New York without knowing if you will keep your job?''

''But it would be ridiculous to sack you, wouldn’t it?''

''There were the same reports at Inter, weren’t there?''

''Why haven’t you asked anyone at City to stop these stories?''

''These stories don’t help though, do they?''

''Were the players you signed last summer your players or did someone buy them for you''

''Did you sign those players because they were the only ones left?''

''You said Vicky should stop these rumours but she can only do that if someone on the board tells her to?''

''Arsene Wenger hasn’t won a trophy for eight years, David Moyes has never won a trophy. Why are you in this situation?''

''But you can’t blame Vicky?''

''You’re still popular with the fans, do you think that will help you keep your job?''
etc etc

What sort of fucking questions are these to be left unchallenged by the chief communications officer? were these sanctioned in advance? if not why not? why did she not step in and stop the awkward questions as she was stood there listening? What choice did he have but to respond the way he did when he was clearly under attack?!?!

He has done nothing wrong here in my eyes. Can you imagine these questiosn being allowed at certain other clubs?

The club, or an individual (s), seem to have purposely fed him to the lions.

He does not deserve that.

Bang on Balti. Whatever he has or hasn't done, right or wrong, he's been hung out to dry by the club.
Exactly
You will get the same halfwits spewing more bile about him though.

Give it up, you are like a dog with a bone.

You are saying everyone should be loyal to a manager, even if he is being a prick and trying to undermine everyone around him to cover up his fuck ups.
Give over.

So the people with the same opinion as you can detract from Mancini can say what they want, but when I try and substantiate my opinion and support the manager of the football club, that is not Kosher.. ok.

It sis becoming obvious that he has lost the support of a large part of the organisation that he works for, yet you think it is their fault and not Mancini's?

An organisation that didn't go and get the manager of the 2011/2012 premier league champions the players he identified to kick the club on to compete on two fronts.

An organisation that let him be dismantled by journos the night of an F.A cup final loss.

An organisation that will replace him with a dour tactician who hasn't won a trophy in a decade.

A manager that had the number of Sir Alex Ferguson. Who won the league ahead of the schedule set out for him by the very same organisation.

Put opinions on the manager aside, is everyone at least in agreement that this fucking stinks?

I just don't see what the club were supposed to do. "hey, roberto, we're going to fire you in a week and a half, but please do a good job coaching until then."

It's unreasonable. The plan all along was probably to wait until the end of the season and have a "process" whereby they'd fire him. Maybe before NY trip just to spare him that farce. The news got out early and the club should be concerned about the manner of that happening, but once it got out they can't really back him and then fire him in a week. They can't realistically pre-announce his firing. Yeah, it got ugly, but it realistically got ugly the second the news picked up steam, at that point there was realistically no way to put the cat back in the bag, so to speak.

That's twice in as many days the club left him a sitting duck, and it cost them.

Alright. Lets work on the basis that everyone at the club - from Khaldoun downwards, woke up on Saturday morning and thought "fuck it, lets leave Mancini hanging in today's press conference and give him no assurances about his job and no support from ourselves."

If they did do that then they must dislike him pretty intensely. They were all in town, and will have all woken to the same headlines we woke to. With Hughes the reason given for him having to take charge against Sunderland was that Khaldoun wanted to tell him face to face and therefore it was delayed until he arrived in the UK even though we all knew it was coming. This wasn't the case on Saturday. Anyone from the hierarchy at City could've spoken to Vicky and made Mancini's day easier.

Sometimes you can glean more from someone's inaction, than from their action.
I don't care if they like him or not. This is unfair to your supporters at this point, and the owners have an obligation to the people they want money from. I'm not being unreasonable either and suggesting anything crazy like they should consult fans about hiring a manager or something nonsensical. They do however have an obligation to act professionally and not make decisions based on petty vendettas.

And if that's not the case and people are coming to incorrect conclusions, it's the club's own damn fault for sitting their silently.

Billy do you think their inaction is in the best interests of the football club or self perservance?

yes it does stink.. 1 year ago today was the greatest day in many City fans lives.
Bob is being treated poorly, if hes going, then let him go with dignity, not in a blaze of press pisstaking and disloyalty.
