So is Pelligrini the new manager or is he knot ?
Hard to fathom so far. I would suggest that as we aren't herring anything, there's currently nothing to sea here.

You're clearly out of your depth. We're talking about a man who's won leagues in different countries. What a load of codswallop.
You'll be eating humble pie aft-er it is all done and dusted.

Klopp said months ago that he did not need money, he "has enough for three meals a day"

He also said he will see out his contract with Dortmund....... he has been loyal so far

<a class="postlink" href="http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1417338/borussia-dortmund-manager-jurgen-klopp-commits-his-future?cc=5901" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/14173 ... re?cc=5901</a>

everyone has their price
He said this before the sale of Mario Götze to FC Bayern München. If I was Klopp, I'd be extremely annoyed at this deal. Sure, he had no dealing with it however it's still enough to question the clubs future; can they truly compete with that club when they have this tactic of signing players from German clubs to stop them threatening.

We won't get him but I have a feeling that Klopp may have a price right now, albeit one which isn't totally fueled by riches.

You've just got to love our Official Website:

What the media says:

Hard to find any positives in the Press round-up today with the FA Cup defeat to Wigan still so fresh in the memory.

So rather than regurgitate what is painful reading, we’ll go with a few Pablo Zabaleta quotes ahead of tomorrow night’s trip to Reading.

The Blues’ crowd favourite is quoted on Sports Mole as being mystified as to why City will end this campaign with no major trophies.

Still hurting from his red card on Saturday, Zaba said: "It's hard to understand why we haven't won anything when you look at the team and see the players we've got.

"Another trophy has gone, we couldn't lift this FA Cup and that was important for the club – to keep winning trophies.

"Now this season has practically gone we need to come back next season stronger and try to win something again."

And it doesn’t just rain, it pours – with ESPN claiming City are facing yet another group of death in the Champions League next year after failing to improve the ranking needed in Uefa’s co-efficiency table.

They report: “Manchester City's dismal performance in the Champions League is set to cost them dear in the draw for next season's group stage.

“City drew three games and lost three games in the Champions League this season

“Roberto Mancini’s side failed to win a single match in the competition, finishing bottom of a tough group featuring Ajax, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, meaning City were unable to improve their UEFA coefficient score.

“They are now highly likely to drop from the second pot of seeds to the third pot.

“City could face a difficult draw for the third season running with Barcelona or Bayern Munich from pot one and Juventus, AC Milan or Paris Saint-Germain from pot two being possible opponents.”

Ah well, bring it on!

Not one mention of the main talking point in all the newspapers!! As some are prone to say on here: YCNMIU.

Pardon? I hope you're not implying that I'm a rag. That's the only thing I hate about this place. Full of paranoid types that see Utd fans everywhere. Bitter End is a well known nautical term. It's the loose thread at the end of the ship's rope. Many modern phrases have their routes in nautical history. Above Board, Aloof, All At Sea, All In A Day's Work... the list is staggering.

It probably drank too much on saturday.

Was it in 136?

What we need is a Bird's Eye view.

I just hope City have dotted all the I's and crossed all the T's.

The last thing our board can legislate for is Pellegrini being spooked into an about-turn with the continued speculation and opinion led pieces.

Barca are an attractive proposition for any manager, but trust Begiristain to have done the hard work already.

Down the years we have seen the likes of Joe Royle (first time around) and even Dave Bassett renege at the final hurdle.

Christ the grim reaper returns...city to win 3 nil and now this...oh happy day

im going to put radiohead on.....

Pellegrini has applied for his free bus pass and is looking for someone to teach him English, so it must be true.

He was also told "Manchester can be a bit chilly"

Question: You’re still popular with the fans, do you think that will help you keep your job?

Mancini: This is normal because we won. I don’t think there will ever be another manager who will win 6-1 at Old Trafford against Ferguson. I was the first manager who, after 30 years, took the banner from Old Trafford.

We won one Premier League, we won one FA Cup, one Charity Shield. For this reason, I am very popular with the supporters. I love them, they love me. I am very happy for this. If I leave the club, I will be the first supporter of Manchester City in the future. Now, I can say nothing. I don’t know whether it’s true or not.

If true and the club are sacking him all the best Mancini was reading this and really felt for the man

Forza Mancini

Gonna to be hard with Fergie retiring
