It it is pre-agreed, say it now. End this torturous limbo. Say Mancini's last game is against Norwich and he'll see out the season. Otherwise, no point in playing games at Reading and Norwich, it is like that blasted game at Middlesbrough, tarnished, of no interest and farcical.

I've wondered since yesterday afternoon, what is the point sacking him before the season finishes, other than just spite on someone's behalf. Let him see out the season, let the fans thank him for what he's achieved here, then have a sensible parting of the ways as soon as possible.
