I can confirm Pellegrini is set to leave Málaga and sign with Manchester City. The club is trying to bring Isco along, player is interested in the move ........

Some guy called Henandez on Twitter ......

wow be still my beating heart

Pellegrini and Isco

We'll romp the league next season then

YCNMIU

Sounds better than Mancini and Sinclair ......

But no better than Mancini and Silva

Looks like we'll get to find out

Personally I'd bet Mancini >>>>Pellegrini

I hope i'm wrong.

Pellegrini will need to win the league next season and do well in europe or he'll presumably be sacked as we continue to become the next Chelski

Fucking awful news - why can't we ever get a perspective on things and instead always revert to headless chicken implosion the moment things don't go entirely our way - we will rue this disgusting spineless and ungrateful reaction . Clearly the 5 keyboard campaigners on here were not alone.
I think it's for the best we are going backward in our progression

Wow Ducado- didn't know you thought that!!?? When did you take that view?

And anyone who does not agree with that view is going on the list :)

Imagine the nuclear explosion that would happen if Fergie didn't really retire and took over the City job instead.

Never going to happen, but made me chuckle to imagine.

I'm just about to have a line, think you should stay off it mate!
Can you chalk one out for me, think super Yaya is on serious tackle.

No prob mate, I've left you two to numb the pain

Look at the way Moyes and Fergie leave their respective clubs today. Wouldn't be surprised to see our lot arrange for a clown to run on and tip a bucket of cold water over Mancini as a parting shot. The man has some pride. Give him some respect City - he's earned it. Treating him like he's contagious. Well I'll be at the Norwich game to say thank you to him. Gave me the best moments I've ever seen at City and the best football and I've been going since 1973.

Looks like we are the new Chelsea or is it typical City cant quite make my mind up yet!!!!
What the fuck?

ROBERTO MANCINI WAS THE 4TH LONGEST SERVING MANAGER IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE. WE ARE NOT LIKE CHELSEA FOR SACKING A MANAGER AFTER 4 YEARS.

Understand?
Like I said i can not make my mind up !! my opinion you pea brain or is it only you who can have a opinion.
Tell me how long Pellegrini will last............

1987–1989 Universidad Chile
1990–1991 Palestino
1992–1993 O'Higgins
1994–1996 Universidad Católica
1998 Palestino
1999–2000 LDU Quito
2001–2002 San Lorenzo
2002–2003 River Plate
2004–2009 Villarreal
2009–2010 Real Madrid
2010– Málaga

And only one minor cup in all those years the premiership will eat him alive. For the record I don't think we should have sacked Bobby or was that point lost on you.

I understand #ManchesterCity owner Sheikh Mansour had made up his mind to sack Roberto #Mancini long before the FA Cup loss. As early as Feb

Sounds like the owner had enough.

9th February, Southampton away. Remember that? Only "bettered" by yesterday's shower of shit in terms of player disengagement.

You have to wonder though, if minds were made up in Feb to sack him, why didn't they just do it then? They either believed he was the right man or they didn't, so what's the sense in sticking with a man who you don't believe in for the rest of the season?

As much as I don't agree with the way Abramovich does things sometimes, last year he sacked AVB and they won two trophies. If he had kept AVB and stories had started to come out about his future in the final weeks of the season would they have won the Champions League? Not a chance. Instead they won two trophies with a lesser manager helped by the fact that they didn't have the media bullshit around them. Abramovich was actually quite clever in that respect.

If we'd sacked Mancini in Feb and put Platt and Kidd in charge til the end of the season, then yes we wouldn't have had as good a manager in charge, but we'd have had a better chance of winning the FA cup in my opinion, without all the uncertainty of this weekend.

I've been behind Mancini all season - because that's what you do as a proper fan - but I believe his card was marked last summer and again after the CL debacle.

His public spat with Marwood ended up with Marwood being moved sideways, not OUT of the club, suggesting the owners either partly or wholly backed him and not Bobby. Mancini couldn't convince our key targets to come to City and play for HIM unless we paid them stupid money, it seems, and that is a major problem for the owners. The club cannot improve unless we can attract the best of the best.

I don't know Pellegrini's credentials regarding attracting big name players (other than he signed Ronaldo for Real Madrid), but hopefully we'll get our targets in the summer with a manager of better repute and move on.

Many thanks to Bobby Manc for breaking our duck in the trophy stakes, but it's tough at the top.

Why have we not heard anything from the club... Snowballing out of control this lark.

Don't like being kept in the dark, can only imagine how Mancini's feeling.
