I suppose you said "fuck Mancini" when Hughes had the job!

Got to give 100% backing to whoever has the job surely.

Only this il miss Mancini but no one is bigger than the club. People missed Sven we moved on people missed hughes (somehow) we moved on. People will miss Mancini if he goes, there's a pattern forming

I still miss Joe Royle.

If he is coming, don't you think an attitude like that is going against the club ? Do you think that is the definition of support of your club ? Like the idiots chanting "you can stick your pellegrini up your arse" yesterday at the cup final, what was that going to achieve ?

Because yes the club is there to run a business but without the fans its rather worthless. We like bobby, i like him and want him to stay. On Tuesday i hope that the blues who do go to Reading shout his name for 90m. Tell the club they're making a mistake. You have to take the fans with you, just look at blackburn for an example of how to seriously fuck things up!

Very pissed off and feel let down by the club that this was out before the game and the manner it continues today. This sort of thing shouldn't be out before a cup final and I feel greatly sorry for the butchering Bobby has received from the media, he should have the club fully behind him and not stabbing him in the back. This shouldn't even of been discussed until at least the season was over. I'm absolutely gobsmacked and sickened by the way he has been treated after giving me as a fan, one of the best moments to remember a year ago. Disgusted just isn't the word for how I feel about the club I love right now. Shocking. And on the day the rags lift the title we are made into a joke, awful.

Same mate, disgraceful! I appreciate what the owners have done but this right now really is shite! Completely shite! I don't want him to go nevermind in this style, he deserves much better. We shouldn't even be letting him go anyway. Bad day this.

It seems to me that Mancini is getting treated publicly with about as much respect as he publicly affords his players.

You mean he's being treated like a dog?

Apparently Sheik Mansour decided to sack him months ago and it's all do do with the CL.
He was set a minimum requirement of getting to the quarter finals.
Pellegrini has been chosen for his excellent CL record with unfashionable clubs(Villareal and Malaga). Got Villareal to the semi's and Malaga to the quarter finals(minutes from knocking Dortmund out)

I can't get my head round some of the thinking here!
Changing mangers does not mean ripping everything up and starting again - it's not as if any new manager will need to be shown what a pitch or a ball looks like - I think we can take it for granted that any appointee will pretty much know their stuff . Whatever personal feelings we may have about Mancini or the Spanish boys I for one am content to rely on their knowledge and experience - I don't think ADUG hire idiots.
The other buzz word "stability" . It means absolutely nothing if it is presided over by the wrong man. The scum were lucky - bacon face was the right man at the right time - it will never happen again that a manager will stay at one club for that long - current financial pressure and need for immediate success will see to that.
He may not need to be shown what a pitch or ball looks like, but they might want to give him some photos of what a trophy looks like. ;)

There are only 2 managers of City I don't miss - Alan Ball and Frank Clark - both were rank from day one.

Am told by a senior City source that Roberto Mancini has not been sacked today.

Could there be a possibility that Mancini has resigned?

Doubt that, he wouldn't be entitled to severance then would he? Doubt he'd pass up millions of squid if that is the case.
