3 trophies and the possibility of a 4th in just over 3 years is great compared to what we have had to endure.
It's a minor point but if we win the FA Cup this year (and you count the Community Shield) then it will be four trophy wins in under three years.
I wouldn't count the friendly cup so to me it would be three trophies in two years

Mancini has won trophies when he had to win. this year i think that we didn't have good squad enough to win PL. yes we have the best starting eleven in England but that's not enough. we lost adam jonson who scored 6-7 important goals last year, we lost de jong who is much more better than garsia and rodwell and could play in the first half well, when barry was injured. so this year we were without bench. last year we were lucky that no one was injured from key players but this year barry was injured in the summer, aguero was injured in the first game of PL, silva was injured, clichy, kompany and it had it's affect on the team.
in the CL real madrid and borussia were better than us and they deserved it. i think that it's not mancini's fault that we depend on yaya or aguero, it's fault of bryan merwood whose job was to buy extra class players, but he failed. next year when soriano and chiki will do their job and buy players enough for first squad and bench too, mancini will do the maqsimum anyone can do with that squad. i don't think who we will buy but mancini will do his job, i am sure. today we played well, we dominated, we were much more better than chelsea but we need better midfielder than barry for that 25 minutes, better winger than milner for that 25 minutes and better striker for that 25 minutes than dzeko. that was the reason in madrid, in that 25 minutes we lost the game, we could have won. i don't think that because they dominated they deserved, we had our tacktiks and it was working well, but lack of good players for madrid was the reason we lost. when you play against madrid barsa or bayern yaya can't do the job he does against rags or chelsea, he has to win against khedira, alonso, ozil and when he plays with barry or alonso it's impossible. that's why i think that it was good choice to leave mancini : )

The most blatant of a RAG post I have seen for a very long time.

Whats wrong with his post ( other than grammar ) ?

Nothing wrong that post at all.

Re: Robert "the genius" Mancini

I'm sure I heard 33000 blues singing Mancini woahhhh Mancini woahhh yesterday.

Glad the majority are still 100% behind our boss.

Changing mananger IMO would be fucking suicide at this point in time. Continuity is the key.
One more season to break into knock out stages in Champs league.

Interesting responses. Juvenile, but nonetheless interesting. I am merely stating that our victory (by one goal) showed nothing of tactical genius by the manager. The only difference between today and the prior matches we've had against Chelsea are that we had the bit between our teeth in the first half, and they were playing like a team that has been run ragged.

Common sense be damned, I guess. You start a thread saying "the genius" for beating Chelsea (with a fair bit of luck from the ref, if we're all honest). Please explain specifics as to why the performance today was tactical genius, when the tactics looked identical to almost every match this season.
Get ta fuck. This is a celebration thread.
Take your shit elsewhere deathbed.

Plastic more like.

What must be very galling for the cabal is that every time there is a crunch game, and we have had two this week, Mancini comes up smelling of roses.

With the very public display of affection by the fans for the manager it would take some cojones for Txiki and Ferran to sack him. Don't think they will as they seem to understand that last summer was a missed opportunity. Noises suggest we will bring in 4 players better than what we have.

Sadly for the usual suspects they will have to wait another year. Sadly for the rest of us they will be posting the usual mixture of wishful thinking, innuendo and pseudo knowledge gained from well placed individuals within the club.

This was a very nice win, and we played well, dominating at times. However, the decision on Bobby will be based on a full review. Then time will tell as to his status beyond this season.

The cabal go very quiet for a few days after a victory for our team and Mancini. As you say we will have to put up with some of the nonsense this thread throughout next season too.

The whole organization is undergoing a transformation into a sustainable one based on development of young talent from around the globe. It remains to be seen if Bobby will carry on as part of a team.

Continuity is never the key if your manager cannot take you any further...

Not if Bobby isn't retained...
