City winning is a tough week??
I think you're a tad confused.
Not that I hate Mancini in the slightest but it has been a great week.

All I will say is Martinez has got Wigan into the final.
Your second sentence is somewhat in conflict with your first.NipHolmes said:Promised myself I wouldn't debate in here so I won't.

1. True
2. Nope, just stating fact.
3. Don't let a good week for City get in the way of your vitriol

Glad the majority are still 100% behind our boss.
Changing mananger IMO would be fucking suicide at this point in time. Continuity is the key.
One more season to break into knock out stages in Champs league.

If we're honest with ourselves, Aguero should have been sent off, and torres was fouled in the box by Kompany. We were shit the entire second half, and the negative tactics brought the pressure on us.
But yeah, pure genius.
I know what you are saying but I don't believe the fan's affection will come into any reckoning at all. It will be a simple decision about Mancini, his performance in their eyes and who (if anyone they believe is better) is available.robbieh said:What must be very galling for the cabal is that every time there is a crunch game, and we have had two this week, Mancini comes up smelling of roses.
With the very public display of affection by the fans for the manager it would take some cojones for Txiki and Ferran to sack him. Don't think they will as they seem to understand that last summer was a missed opportunity. Noises suggest we will bring in 4 players better than what we have.
Sadly for the usual suspects they will have to wait another year. Sadly for the rest of us they will be posting the usual mixture of wishful thinking, innuendo and pseudo knowledge gained from well placed individuals within the club.

You hear it more or less every home game. He has the support of the majority IMO
This is right. While it's been a fantastic week for us, the ultimate aim is success on the biggest stage, which is the CL. This impacts our global profile more than anything and allows us to attract the biggest and best players. It also brings in the additional revenue, through prize money and sponsorship, to keep us out of FFP's clutches.strongbowholic said:I know what you are saying but I don't believe the fan's affection will come into any reckoning at all. If it was up to me, he would be getting at least one more season. However it is not and we should not under estimate the chaps in charge having the strength and bollocks to make whatever changes they see as being in the best interests of the club.
Forza Bob.
