Bizarre how any fan can hate a man who has given most of us one the of best days of our lives.

i think that, i DID want him to go and was a big outer but never hated him

Great stepping stone was bob, forever grateful for the trophies and celebrations that kompanied it (: however, serious delusion from bob there, the dressing room was shot, all key players excluding yaya wanted out and the football under Pellegrini is on another level, comes across a little bitter actually!!!
Well sad Zin.

You are definitely one of my favourite........errrrrr.............four posters.

This has never been anything other than complete hearsay, strange how some people think it's an accepted fact. It isn't

It might not be hearsay to him :-)

Seeing as though it comes from a player who was in that dressing room I'd take his word of rumour, don't be mistaken, yaya was a massive Mancini 'inner'!!!!

Mancini was the right man at the right time and it may very well be the case that it was right to replace him when we did. However to those people offering up pearls of wisdom like "he only deserves token credit...." or suggesting that he is 'arrogant' I would suggest that you are either too young and foolish to recall or understand some of our history, particularly some of the comedians we've had managing us, or so old that you are forgetting all about it! For both I heartlily recommend a dose of previous season DVD's (the 06-07 one ought to do it!) or have a read of Andy Buckley's excellent 'Bluemoon Rising'.

He's a legend no two ways about it. Many people don't seem to appreciate just what he did or let the manner of his sacking overshadow his achievements slightly but I love him

his t shirt and jumper don't go together though

The first trophy in three and a half decades.

Champions League football.

Kun, Merlin, Yaya, Nasri.

That sodding banner coming down at the swamp.

That glorious autumn of 2011.

The 6-1 that we still sing songs about. Emerging from their shadow and eclipsing them.

Aguerooooooooo and our first title since the 60s.

We have moved on but these things we have enjoyed in the last 3-4 years have been special and will always remain so.
I don't care what he says now, or what people say about him, whether he is arrogant or bitter or both. They are the milestones of a journey out of darkness and into sunlight, and he was a key part of it.

I think everyone accepts it was time for him to move on and we're playing spectacular football now. I don't understand why people feel the need to downplay Mancini's achievements though. He gave most of us the best city moment we're ever likely to have. The man's a legend. He also has lovely hair and a nice scarf.
