CITY ABOVE MANAGER

you forgot that one

The manager is above the players, he is in charge of them.
so to add to the childishness...

MANCINI ABOVE BELLAMY.
MANCINI ABOVE IRELAND.
MANCINI ABOVE ONOUHA.
MANCINI ABOVE PLAYERS.

DEAL WITH IT.

but he's not above the club, and that's the point, no one is, if it's wrong for the players to speak out and not keep it behind closed doors, then it's wrong for the manager to do the same.

And it wasn't a case of being childish..it was a case of stating the obvious, get your facts right next time.

He hasn't spoken out though, he's doing his job which is choosing which of his, for want a better word, employees he wants to keep. If he has done something round his superiors in the boardroom and Abu Dhabi will sort it out, so my facts are perfectly correct tyvm.

I don't like what we're becoming. Ireland and Bellamy have been fucked over by the club. I never normally doubt the manager but I can't fathom this one out. Robinho better than Bellamy? Milner better than Ireland? I'm well and truly fucked off by this, look at Bellamy and his work rate compared to that lazy money grabbing tosser Robinho. It's a disgrace.

Time for a few on here to wake up,his mouth works almost as fast as his legs and often with the same results, too quick to make the right decision.

Time to go, he has to go, its not all about Bellamy its about CITY.

If Mancini pisses off his bosses, either by his actions, or by poor performances/results then I'm sure he'll be moved on as well.

No-one should be considered more important than the club, but if you're going to have a falling out between manager and player, there will only be one winner.

And thats they way it should be.

On the pitch Bellamy has been first class for us but publically critising the management is suicidal in any profession. If you have a problem with the manager then you speak to him in private, the reason Bellamy is leaving is because Bellamy can't keep his mouth shut.

Mancini's the best young manager in world football (with the possible exception of Guardiola), which is why he's the City manager. When any other candidate has won half as much as he has, then we'll talk about what other 'top managers' have done.
He's won around the same as Wenger has, and that's the only benchmark in the world that you can use to measure a manager

Sorry, but totally disagree with that. Mancini is one of the best young manager's in the world - but to try and compare him, with a straight face, to Wenger, is laughable. I know it wasn't a direct comparison, but it's incredibly disingenuous to say he's won around the same as Wenger, because Mancini's achievements at Inter will ALWAYS be looked at within the context of the Calciopoli scandal - as they should. That's not to say they weren't achievements, and he shouldn't be applauded for them - just that we'll never ever know what he actually would have won had Juve not been relegated and forced to sell Ibra to Inter...

It's fascinating just how soft and precious so many posters on this forum are when it comes to Mancini. The guys is fallible and he will make mistakes like all managers do, and he'll be criticized for them.

To be honest I never know where certain posters like yourself are going with your infatuation with players like Ireland and constant criticism of Mancini. I didn't like Hughes selling Elano, but we moved on, can't see what the big fuss is over Ireland, good luck to him wherever he ends up but to dispute that he hasn't shown enough to stay is ludicrous(Stevie Ireland appreciation thread says it all, delusional). Mancini will make mistakes, everyone does, and is not in the league of achievements of Wenger and those select few, but he's the best manager we've had in decades and we should be getting behind him and accepting his decisions and accepting that some players, no matter how fond you are of them, aren't good enough or aren't right for the club. I am just tired of the Ireland love-in and the anti-Mancini "how could he get rid of Bellers and Ireland", it's his decision, he's in charge, for me that's the end of it, the manager have to be backed above the players for any of this to work, I just can't wait for 1 September and the end of all this.
