Mancini on Sinclair

Presumably all these losers who think Sinclair has been harshly treated are the same ones claiming Lescott was harshly treated until they appreciated Nastasic.

This is the lescott who nearly cost us the league title v QPR.

Sinclair is shit, Mancini cannot play him.

You're not a good manager if you feel sorry for your players, you have to be ruthless.

spot on.

Fernandinho is a good player but he plays for Shakhtar.

_____ is a good player but he plays for _____

Seems like a Mancini catchphrase whenever it comes to transfers.

Did anyone, at any point, last summer when we we're being link with him think "yeh, can see this working out"?

Check the transfer threads from when we signed him mate. "He's only young he will improve", "He'll look better with better players around him" etc. Absolute bollocks. Complete waste
I don't think anyone on that thread thought he was going to be starting 30 matches or anything but yes, many thought he could be a decent squad player, giving us a genuine alternative to what we already had either off the bench or starting against weaker opposition. Personally I still think that could have been the case if he'd been given anything like a fair go at it.

Mancini deserves a lot of stick for his treatment of Sinclair

Why? If he just does not fit the model, he is hardly the kind of player you would change the shape of your team to suit.... is he?

At best he is a high impact player and maybe he could have had a couple of chances I admit... that said if Mancini just did not fancy him, well, as he says he would be better of slinging his hook...

and BTW I agree with that

-- Fri May 03, 2013 5:40 pm --

Sorry, Scott. We bought you for no conceivable reason.

I'm certain he's not that heartbroken on what.... £80k a week??

My heart bleeds for him.

Do you work for The Sun? ;)

Lads on £45k pw not that it's much consolation.

A couple of weeks ago on the os there was a feature on shooting practice after training and unfortunately Sinclair was awful (and that was without a keeper). I felt embarrassed for the lad just watching it and thought if that's what Mancini is watching its no wonder he doesn't get any game time. I appreciate it could've been a one off or edited to suit a purpose but he was shocking!!

Just let bobby manage, he ain't doing a bad job, Sinclair will get his chance somewhere else with his cash in the bank, guys never feel sorry for a footballer or manager because 9 times out of ten they will come up smelling well Rosy?

The lad is not shite as many of you use as a throwaway comment.

When we needed a plan B, which the lack of was the cause of our downfall, he was perfect for it.

Not playing, does not make him a bad player. He could be just as effective as wotsisface from manyoooooo.

Bob should get the criticism for how he has handled Sinclair. Why not bring him on instead of Kolarov when we needed some pace or width or playing on the counter?
