mancini on sky sport

Bacon bans individual journo's at a drop of the proverbial. Bobby take note.

I see Stuart Brennan is online - Stuart was it you who asked the question which so raised Mancini's ire today. I did detect a twang of Northern in the accent of whoever did the asking ....

Doubt it was Brennan....red or not he has been fighting our corner whether it be on talkshite or ESPN like on saturday....

Jamie Jackson (Guardian) wasn't it? I thought Mancini played it perfectly. He shut the smarmy arsewipe up and stopped any further questioning.

The second line. A reference to the "well done Bobby" brigade in this thread. The point being not that match going Blues don't support Mancini, far from it. The point being that Mancini isn't above criticism, and that when he is criticised it's generally shouted down on the forum, whereas in real life the overwhelmingly vast majority of Blues, even if they don't agree with all of the criticism, understand where it comes from.

Now that's the second time this week I've had to spoon feed you the meaning of one of my posts. There won't be a third so i suggest in future you engage your brain, and make sure you are taking the entire conversation into context rather than just firing off inane loaded questions like a tabloid hack spoiling for a fight.
Would be almost believable but for the word I highlighted.

And I say again, you can't patronise me Billy, it's water off a ducks back. Lovely talking to you once again though. I'll see you on the next thread where you think you can get some mileage out of anything that goes against the gaffer.

I believe in your language this is what is called a PWNING.

Next time you want to play tennis, at least bring a racket even if you haven't got any balls.

Don't see any problem with anything at this press conference from Mancini...I don't know wether his 6 or 7 club comment at the weekend was tongue in cheek or truth...it doesn't matter...the question asked today was innappropriate and digging for something...the agenda for the press right now is to follow the 'Mancini is under pressure' thread and create whatever stories they can...I am sure there will be all kinds of nonsense printed in tomorrow mornings papers and very little of it about the match tomorrow night...well played Roberto. Now if we can then dish out a spanking to Ajax the journo's can all take their pads and pens and go ask Sir Alex how come he threw away an 8 point lead at the end of last season, because not a single sports journalist in the UK has had the balls to do that. Not one.

Mancini is a class act, even more so when he loses a little.

I agree.

He probably "knows people" to sort the jurnos out. After all they'll be a lot of concreate needed for our new training complex....

Only just seen the interview, what exactly was the journos question as it didn't make any sense to me? Was it about what Mancini had said or was it about the champions league?

The most funny thing Mancini said is that it's not important how much Ajax players earn or how much they paid to sign them however Mancini's Top4 targets this summer (De Rossi, van Persie, Hazard, Thiago Silva) would cost 140M. And a lot of fans here are always talking about them: "If we'd sign XY...". Again and again. Pathetic.

The point he was making is that when you go on the pitch it's 11 v 11 and how much money you earn is irrelevant.
