Roberto, the advertisment in the MEN was a class act & you should have left it like that. However, you should have Kept your personal feelings to yourself & accepted the decision with dignity.
His advert in the Men, with its messiah type trophy shot, was a middle finger to the club who'd sacked him. Just like this interview.
Very true, made me chuckle that.

Kin hell Mancini....Time to move on.
I agree the club made the right decision and I was a huge inner.

The cup final summed it up for me.Players just clearly didn't like or want to play for him.

sums it up nicely, no other explanation for the cup final

What about the Norwich game then?

Nah, it was a middle finger to Soriano.

I will always be grateful to Mancini for what he did for our great club.

An FA Cup and a league title is more than I ever dreamed I would see us win. Admittedly, our fantastic owner played more than his part in our success, but it was RM who moulded the players into the outfit that won the trophies and lost ONLY TWO league games in over 2 1/2 seasons at the Etihad.

Of course he had his bad points; none of us is perfect, and I was disgusted with him for leaving Pantilimon out of the final team, but he doesn't deserve the slagging he receives from some posters on here.

His interview proves he couldn't work with the new CEO and DoF and it was the correct decision to sack him but he still deserves respect for what he had achieved.

Why should he ?? If he is asked a question he is entitled to respond.
If that is his opinion of what happened that is fine.

I dont think he is entitled to respond by slagging off his previous employers.
What? All he said was he didn't think he deserved it because he had a good record with the club and he was hurt by it ..that's not exactly slagging off our owners and he mentioned he deserved more respect..which he is correct c'mon now you don't think he deserved more respect when he got sacked before finishing out the last 2 games of the season like he was avb in Chelsea? He should've at least been given the last 2 games out of respect for what he did for us ..and he didn't even diss the owners or soriano all he said was they didn't speak the same language ..so no bobby didn't say anything that was "slagging us off" I guess a man can't give his true opinions in a interview ..and we complain when people aren't honest
Are you kidding me?

He is hugely disrespectful to soriano in that interview.

A dignified man would have acknowledged his failings and been humble and philosophical about the situation-even if he didn't mean it. He's probably not helping his cause finding another job, but he's never been bright enough to think through the implications of his public outbursts.

Oh nose, Mancini doesn't like Soriano and said bad things about him.

Let's all call Mancini a **** and say bad things about him.

Dave, when you talk about a dignified man on here, do you do so without reading some of your posts where there seems to be a fuckload of you abusing, talking down to and generally sneering at those who disagree with you?
Also you allude to him being thick/simple when he has had an extremely successful career in his chosen field, going from a great footballer who won many an honour, into management where he's replicated his success?
Just leave it be and look forward to the future - your need to tell us all how shit he is/was is not necessary, you've got your wish (although it took a little longer than you anticipated, you know with us winning silverware and that..) he's gone. Lets just enjoy the coming season and see what it brings.

Dave is an intellectual giant, don't you know? The country doesn't know what it's missing. If he didn't spend all his time on here he could have been a contender.

If I thought it was realistic that you'd ever had a Mrs, I'd assume Mancini had shagged her by the way you go on. He's gone, let it go.
