Are you kidding me?

He is hugely disrespectful to soriano in that interview.

A dignified man would have acknowledged his failings and been humble and philosophical about the situation-even if he didn't mean it. He's probably not helping his cause finding another job, but he's never been bright enough to think through the implications of his public outbursts.
Dave, when you talk about a dignified man on here, do you do so without reading some of your posts where there seems to be a fuckload of you abusing, talking down to and generally sneering at those who disagree with you?
Also you allude to him being thick/simple when he has had an extremely successful career in his chosen field, going from a great footballer who won many an honour, into management where he's replicated his success?
Just leave it be and look forward to the future - your need to tell us all how shit he is/was is not necessary, you've got your wish (although it took a little longer than you anticipated, you know with us winning silverware and that..) he's gone. Lets just enjoy the coming season and see what it brings.

Dave is an intellectual giant, don't you know? The country doesn't know what it's missing. If he didn't spend all his time on here he could have been a contender.

Those people who say Mancini should quit talking and move on, are the same who reply to every post mentioning Mancini on here and grasp every chance to slag him off. Strange that.

I blame Mancini as much as I blame the players for the cup final. They all let us down that day.

Onwards and upwards. Forever grateful to Bobby for the success he gave us, sad how it ended, but in the new management we trust. Bring on 2013/14.

Time to put it to bed now.

Why? Serious question btw. Mancini's not a sacred cow who cannot be discussed. He's an incredibly divisive figure who was loathed by some as much as he was loved by many. I agree that he had his part to play in our success in recent seasons and there's much he genuinely deserves thanks for. But ultimately he's now an ex employee having not to subtle digs at current employees. You're right we all know what his faults were, and maybe those who used to be derided for talking about them, feel now that he's been sacked because of them, it's an appropriate time to talk about them openly. It's not an open wound anymore, we have a new manager. So in that sense Mancini's fair game for those who want to praise and those who want to criticise.

I find the whole put it to bed lets move on stuff incredibly tedious. It's a forum where people can say what they like if it's City related. The onus is on you to move on if you find a topic not to your tastes. Just as I do with so much of the forum.

Eez football bobby manc...
Gutted for the way it ended but it's a cut throat business in football...
We needed to go to that next level but you was standing still bob....
Thanks for the memories roberto, you're forever in our hearts...

None of the main protagonists from either side of the debate can or will move on...too much invested in it now. It's an ongoing narrative, albeit framed slightly differently now. I think the energy put into it is now being used to power the new Holistic version of Bluemoon ;)

And yet another JCL chimes in....

JCL? That'll be you then because I know Blue Heaven is no JCL to the MCFC cause.
You mean the same blue heaven who was slagging city fans off on certain threads for their support of Mancini.
When he goes to the etihaad and watches his FIRST ever match he can be entitled to have a pop.

Yeah, and you were also among the HUNDREDS of others here, inner and outer, who were slagging off City fans for their support/non-support of Bobby. You're a blithering hypocrite, and in your way, just as clueless as Mancini.

The same could be said of any divisive subject on Bluemoon mate. Dzeko, same people. Hughes, same people. Balo, same people. Thaksin, same people. And on and on. If it weren't this forum wouldn't be half as popular!

Just read the lot, what a difference a few months makes in regards to the stance on Mancini now.

Anyway, couple of noters.
Mancini is quoted as saying he does not see Ferran and Txiki as above him.
Mancini is called a champion by Soriano.
Mancini can work with these people, football people.

Sorry folks but the shit lies at the door of Mancini in all of this. Mancini thought he won the war when Marwood was deployed in another role and then entered two guys who have helped overhaul imo the best club in world football.

Mancini knew the problems but didn't fix them, thing is he was the problem and we fixed it by moving him on. Simple as that.

Amen. Bobby was a festering carbuncle on the posterior of our club. Without him starting and feeding fires everywhere within the squad and organization, we are finally free to continue the evolutionary process.

Thank you for so eloquently validating my point. ;)
