Mancini On Soriano

Pathetic and typical Mancini.

Blaming everyone except himself and casually slipping in we were nothing without him.

Funny how he was paying public lip service to the merits of Cheeky AND Soriano when they were first appointed.

Pellegrini is a massive upgrade on Mancini, both as a manager and as a person.

Jog on Bob, more like. A man who can't see that pissing off his boss and most of his players is likely to end badly must have some sort of claim to be the most deluded in football.

Haha. Classic Mancini. He also lifted his skirt and whistled at Roma to come check him out in the same interview. Clearly the man's struggling to find a job, and I suppose he has to blame someone for his sacking because the alternative is anathema to such an arrogant, deluded, self important man.

But he does have a point. He did win us the Premiership and in some style too and any true blue will be eternally grateful for that.

At the time he was dismissed I was a bit miffed, that said and in the aftermath I can see why it happened. Still, I am appreciative of what he achieved for us and now he's had his say (which I think needed to be said) it should be laid to rest.

Eternally clueless...but anyway, thanks for the memories, Bobby. Do you have another gig lined up? No? Well, I'm sure Ferran will now be sure to give you a sterling recommendation.

He has a point there, we were nothing without him.... well for 44 years at least. A bit more gratitude please!

Still, at least he didn't have another go at Marwood ... ;)

He knows how to embarrass himself for sure. A few months ago i think i remember him saying something like "tactics are not important, it's more important to have the best players"...when asked about Txiki and if he has told him to play the 4-3-3 system.

Completely took his quotes out of context there - what he actually said was that he wanted players that could play in all formations, 433, 442, 352, etc, not just 433. Which I agree with.

And then people complain when we don't have a plan b...

The man who should be getting the credit is Sheikh Mansour as without him we could only dream of winning the league. The is no way on god's earth that Mancini would have won the league without the financial backing we received. So excuse people if they would prefer to offer their gratitude to the Sheikh rather than a manager who thinks we all owe him something despite only being at City for the money in the first place.

In my opinion Mancini hasn't said too much wrong there ..... okay he has had a bit of a go at Soriano , but it's something and nothing.

I suppose if you think you're doing a good job and then somebody comes in and is instrumental in getting shut of you then it is gonna rankle a bit , it would with anyone ..... and , with the growing Pellegrini rumours , it would appear that the club had been thinking of dismissing Mancini long before he finally got dismissed !

Mancini hadn't done badly here , and Soriano has to hope that Pellegrini can better it ..... or else Sorianos own footballing and business knowledge will come under adverse scrutiny.

If Pellegrini is a complete fuck up I'll be wanting those pair of Spanish cunts heads on a plate.
