Now I know why Bobby took Tevez off in the FA Cup ... he saw the writing on the wall and didn't want to give Manu the chance to win his first trophy in August thus ensuring the season was automatically a success!
Billy, you've already tried to bullshit by pretending I was mates with Mancio, when I didn't like him, told people to ignore him and called him a twat, do try not to lie again and pretend I've ever recognised the Charity Shield as a trophy when I've stated on many occasions that it isn't.

Oh c'mon .... I've no idea whether you think the CS is a legitimate trophy or not .... y'know full well I was having a little dig at Bobby's expense. I'm genuinely sorry for the misunderstanding.

You've got me bang to rights on the Mancio dig though!

Fair play, appreciate that. :-) (genuine smiley)

Still think he should be manager for what its worth, especially after some of this summers uninspiring signings - and rumoured ones - and if he deserved sacking so did bulbhead, troll boy and co for their performances in last years final

pelli is going to be great for us, as was bob. lets hope he gets better support from upstairs.

Exactly less nitpick pricks, back the physio, back the team, back the players, back the shirt, back the sponsor, support your blue friends and back the bloody manager!

-- Fri Jul 05, 2013 12:20 am --

2 forum heavyweights and Macini haters!?

This thread reminds me of a scene from the Simpsons where Bart & Lisa are in the park arguing with Rabbi Krustovski.

All that and he still managed to take us from SIXTH to CHAMPIONS

And still get sacked whilst 40,000 sang his name ... hahaha.

That says a great deal more about the club and its ambition and quality of management than anything else. BTW I'm pleased to see that it was not just me that saw through your thin veneer of support (if there was any at all) for Roberto and your unforgiving approach to the club for sacking arguably our worst manager ever,

Sorry buddy on this one you are way out of line. Just come clean and admit it - people will respect you more - believe me. A man of his word and beliefs and all that....

Soriano and Begiristain allowing Mancini to be humiliated before the Cup Final was a shabby way to treat him and it destabilised the club and they must take a lot of responsibility for the Wembley no show. I didn't agree with replacing Mancini, and the way it was handled was very, very poor indeed. A sad chapter in our history.

I just hope that Pellegrini is an improvement on the high standards set by Mancini. If he isn't an improvement, and we have to give him time, the judgement of Soriano and Begiristain will come into sharp focus, in Abu Dhabi and amongst us.

Some Blues believing Begiristain and Soriano were right to replace Mancini is a matter of opinion, but the hatred towards Mancini and the clever arse gloating on here is utterly shameful. The anti-Mancini whispering campaign on here for much last season was equally shameful especially when you consider what Mancini achieved for us. All of it is misplaced.

Preach your hatred if you really must, but it says more about the haters than anyone else.

great post,especially the last sentence

+1 some people just cant appreciate quality when they see it.

He calls for respect yet completely disrespects Soriano? The mind boggles.

Par for the fucking course with this guy. Just amazes me that it's taken so long for a few people to see what a complete twat he was and how corrosive he was behind the scenes at City.
I will nail my colours to the mast and say that I liked Mancini.
Knowing what I know, now, I believe it was right to part company with him, although the way it was done was sloppy and amateurish.
However, I do not understand how a so called City fan can be calling him names like this!! It amazes me.
Having seen some genius managers in the past like Alan Ball and Phil Neal, I would still not resort to calling those guys names.
Mancini brought us our first trophies for over 40 years. On that alone he should be given respect.
Fair enough if you dont like him, but I think resorting to name calling shows a lack of class.
