Mancini out (Merged)

Re: Mancini out

The thing that concerns me is they just don't seem to want to try, right from the start of this match it was missed pass after missed pass from players who should be getting it right 90-95% of the time. The mental game is not there and I think maybe Mancini is not very popular with the players.

He reminds me of Ranieri.

Not really good enough for where we want to go. I think he should be gone imo, he clearly isn't working or shown anything that he can take the club forward.

Imagine him in the CL next season with his negative tactics. If we lose to the rags, he will be out imo.

He can't have a team in Europe, that's been proven this season. All he'll do is complain about fixture congestion and lack of a winter break. Other English teams have had success in Europe but their manager didn't cry about having to play all the time.
Actually they did, and all the other teams have bigger squads

Re: Mancini out

He is a gutless coward. This probably won't go down well but if we had even half of the mentality that he rags do we'd be performing much better.

When we go one down it seems to be effectively game over. No fight what so ever. I like Mancini but he isn't the man for us.

The liverpoool team seem to be upping their game, for the bigger teams,

Why aren't we?

im not defending how we played, we were shocking, but as many people keep pointing out weve spent 300 million, we shud be able to bring any palyer in and they shud perform,

If you've bought the wrong players, then they won't perform!

football isnt that simple im afraid. mancini is not to blame.

So it wasn't Mancini's fault that he changed a winning team?!

Not his fault that he played the pedestrian Millner, Barry and Ya Ya against a team which ran rings around them?!

Not his fault that he rests our best two midfeilders in De Yong and Silva for a game FIVE days away?!

yes he should have played dejong,

But that's not his fault?

Even the best make mistakes.

But the best learn from them. Mancini doesn't - cos he's clueless in the Prem. Nearly every BIG game he's had, he bottles it.

Utd twice last season. Twice this. Spurs last season. Chelsea, Arsenal, Kiev....

Yet it's not Mancini's fault?

LOL.
Aaah thanks. You've saved me a job there.

this is what pisses me off about some city fans, fergiescum and wenger have moaned for years about fixture congestion and playing two games a week and not having enough time off after european games and we have fans now trying to rewrite history to have a go at mancini

not to mention all the loaned out city players they are now claiming are much better than than the current lot

better twisted propaganda than the nazi's ever managed in the war

debate and opinion is one thing fantasy and downright lies are another

Re: Mancini out

Steve McLaren,Christian Gross,Roy Hodgson and many others have been successful in other countries but were found out in the PL. Mancini does not understand or refuses to understand the league. We simply can't afford to let him use City as a work in progress in the hope that one day, maybe,he'll come good. It's got to a stage now where,if we go a goal down,it's almost certain that we won't win.
Even if (and it's a very big if) we win on saturday,we'll have a final against a team who will be more up for it than us. Desire, passion, will to win and having faith in your manager seems to overcome price-tags and reputations every time. Just as RMs supporters are fast running out of excuses,so is the man himself. He's not been that unlucky with injuries, can't blame the ref, can't blame lack of investment and can't now blame tiredness. Backed into a corner, all he can do is say he made a mistake.

I just wish I knew who is worthy of managing us. I'd be tempted to get in Big Sam for the short term given that he's available. Anyone who can bring a bit of simplicity to our game. We are crap because everything is too complicated. If we did a few simples things well with the players we have we'd be great to watch. I have waited a lifetime for a cup and I'm willing to wait a few more years if it means its won proper - that means not be fannying about Mancini style. We are worst to watch than under Pearce. I don't blame the players, most are trierscand the rest are utterly confused IMO. Sooner Mancini goes the better.

Sam Allardyce, Martin O'Neill, take your pick, either of them would have a better understanding of how to manage a team in the Premiership than Roberto.
He has blundered right from the very beginning in his choice of players, formation, training, tactics and man-management. He has cost us players of the quality of Adebayor, Bellamy, Petrov Ireland and soon, Tevez. have the replacements improved the quality of our squad? Never!
He is an unqualified disaster in England and we would be better off without him even if Kidd took over or the players managed by committee (almost).

I can't believe the number of Blues who point to our 4th place and Cup Semi-final as proof of his qualities as a manager. Given the funds at his disposal since he arrived and the quality within our squad - bearing in mind that poor management will often make good players look bad - a semi-house-trained chimpanzee could have done better, let alone an experienced Premiership manager like O'Neill.

He should go tonight and we should beg O'Neill to rescue our season.

Re: Mancini out

I wonder how popular Mancini is with the players. They looked completely disinterested, even Kompany wasn't his usual self. In the second half they gave up, and just went through the motions. There is no fight in this team. A stark contrast to Liverpool, where the players looked like they would run through brick walls for Dalglish, they clearly have a lot of respect for him. I understand how important the cup is, but the League is always bigger priority, finishing 4th with nothing is more important than 5th and one trophy. No De Jong, and Silva starting harmed us a lot.

I sometimes wonder if the players hate him so much that they are playing to get him out. Good managers don't get in that position.
