Mancini out (Merged)

Re: Who should City get to replace Mancini?

I'd love to see Martin O'Neill at the helm too. I think he could do a job at city.

Re: Who should City get to replace Mancini?

realistically were not gonna get a hiddink or mourinho so whats the point, any new manager that comes in will want to spend £100 + million and the will start back at square one, if he doesnt achieve anything in the 1st year itll be al ' give him time' 'hes got to get the team to gel' 'you cant judge someone so soon' .. ever manager goes through a tough patch but its all about staying stong and sticking with them through this, then reaping the rewards later

anyone.

mancini is so far out of his depth its frightening.

buys are mostly bad, tactics are baffling, the man himself is boring.

how many games have we really enjoyed this season? 6?

When Mancini first arrived, I liked him. Since then, I have grown to dislike him, but I have still wanted him to stay because (a) I felt we needed the stability and (b) he is a proven winner, who I hoped would come good.

It is fast coming to the point where I agree - almost anyone else would be better.

And no, I am not just being a drama queen after last night. The signs have been there for months. Last weeks result was a rare exception that temporarily papered over the cracks.

I admire anyone who stands by our manager, the love for our club allows us to be so blinkered and blind faith takes over.

An FA cup win and top 4 finish still wouldnt change my mind about the guy. the past 18 months has been so frustrating, probably more so than the dark days in div 2 because we know that we should be so much better than we actualy are.

Who should City get to replace Mancini?

First we better fit a revolving door!

Some if our fans want the manager sacked after 18 months is laughable!

The scum got embarrassed there also!

Chelsea got beat there!

Arsenal got beat there!

Mancini will still be here next season so get over it and get behind the team and Manager!

do you really think were gonna win the premier league playing this kind of football

Re: Who should City get to replace Mancini?

Coyle has shown real telent for me. not a big enough name for some of you on here bu a manager that knows english football and it's culture and has improved both clubs he's been at. He plays attractive football, has an eye for a player and deals well the the media.
I'd wager the likes of Milner, Tevez and Johnson would see him as a breath of fresh air.

There'd be no more 5 minute conferences outisde the dressing room at half time that's for sure. He's be in communicating with his players as is normal.

Do we have to go for some foreign manager who you all rave about even though he doesn't have a clue about English football?

when we were in div 2 I would have expected us to beat notts co and leicester over two legs and also reading.

Hughes was sacked for not being on target for top 4. So the board thought that our side was good enough for the top 4. £100m + more investment plus Liverpool and Chelsea having their own mini self implosions, top 4 is the minimum target in my eyes.

Re: Who should City get to replace Mancini?

If Tevez is out long term you may have a serious problem when it comes to finishing in the top four
