Looks like Roma want the Mancini. If he leaves i cant blame him coz if i had an uncertain future at a club i would jump ship.At least if he resigns we dont after pay any compensation.
It could cost him £10m to resign rather than be sacked, so I'd be stunned if he did anything so daft. He did it once and I'm sure he learnt a hard lesson.

I'm sure if we're looking to replace him in the summer anyway, there could be a mutual consent deal sorted?

I think he'll be very tempted by Roma to be honest

A point I've made many times.

If he does go I can see a "mutual consent" arrangement made and presented to the the media/fans as a resignation for family reasons. Better for Mancini's CV. Better for Abu Dhabi's reputation. Better all round.

If he goes for that Roma job I wonder how everyone will feel that's been crying out for stability and has been saying we need to stick with him?

It would be a kick in the balls eh?

Good

He had the opportunity to be Italy manager a while back, he didnt go. What makes anyone think he will go for the Roma job. He will be here until kicked out or resigned due to actual personal reasons. The only scenario i can see him being kicked out is if he fails to progress from the group stages next season.

I don't think the Roma job will appeal to Mancini and as you say if he does resign then it would become very messy.
It will certainly appeal to him imo new stadium being built, rich owners, back in his own country and of course everyone knows how much he loves De Rossi.

The 2 threads Mancini In and Mancini Out have both become rather silly now.

Fucking hell I have had my fair share of disagreements with blues about certain things but the 2 threads are to be honest embarrassing and have gone totally off subject and become a name calling thread. Worst 2 threads I have ever seen on here.

Hope the mods get a grip and sort them out.

I wasn't aware of this, was he offered the Italy job?

Mancini must be one of, if not, the best manager in the world. After all, since he has joined, every player has wanted to leave, we have no team spirit and his man-management skills, based on a Dickensian character with Macchiavellian principles, leads to players and all staff hating him. Yet we have won the league and FA Cup.

You have to admire him.

I suppose I should pay more attention when reading then! Ha Ha! My point - though completely out of context to your post still stands though. :-)

not your fault mate ;) its my fault cause my english is too poor to be articulate. my point is that some people are bashing mancini with the mith that mourinho got his team and suddenly won the CL. when the truth is that mourinho inherited an italian serie a serial winning team and needed to spend 59M euros first season (muntari+amantino mancini+quaresma) having worse CL than mancini's previous seasons , plus 64M euros next season (eto'o + motta + milito + lucio +sneijder +pandev) and ended winning CL after having been 5 minutes from being out already in the qualification group.

So instead of celebrating what is an Inter fans dream you'd rather slight the achievement?

I can't get my head around that. That is the epitome of biting your nose to spite your face.

Also, why not put this into perspective, you got 30m euro and Eto'o for Zlatan which was great business.

He won the treble for you with that squad, if I were you I'd cherish that feat and would celebrate the players and manager that made it happen as well as the huge investment by Moratti.

Haters gonna hate, even if it's your own club. Twisted.

.

no hater here. I celebrated , cheerished and enjoied the treeble like a pig rolling himself in the shit.

what i cant accept is the false mith of mourinho winning the treeble with mancini's inter when in fact that was a 70/100 different team

and , its true that eto'o+50M euros for ibrahimovic was a fantastic business , its false that it was a "mourinho's mastertroke" becouse that was ibra wanting to go to barcelona inspite of mourinho's will to keep him at inter.

No matter how you want to dress it up Mourinho saw fit to strengthen and did so with the right players. He didn't spend much when you base it on net spend and he won you a treble.

It's up to you to have that opinion but if Jose did what he did at Inter here I'd only ever be positive about him. I'd celebrate the achievment rather than try and find faults.
