If it wasn't for the scum breaking records that we probably set last season, we'd be having a great season.

Bobby Bluster is back, slating Hart yet again. These kinds of critiques are necessary, but should ALWAYS be done behind closed doors, instead of in front of the rapacious media. How many other club managers around the planet stoop to this kind of behaviour? If he simply cannot control himself in this regard, then it's well past time that Sheik Mansour sacks him and allows Platt to finish out the season before hiring a new manager this summer. I'm worried at this point about going into freefall and jeopardizing a CL place finish. Our players, by and large, as well-evidenced by the last three matches, have simply tuned out Bobby and are going through the motions in hope of a managerial change.

Let's take loyalty out of this...
RM should have been sacked last year If it wasn't for.....
This year the blame is more on the summer business... we spent a lot of money and gambled on a lot of players Nasty paid off and MAYBE Garcia and didn't strength much....
But the squad is still amazing and under performing too many times individuals saved the game for us

U keep RM it's still a risk still unproven ....I like the way we play when in form but u can't always be in form and how much of that is based on individual skill of the players.
If he can give youngsters chance and rejuvinate The team & narrow the gap + another FA cup.. he should stay

U sack him surely there will be improvement and there is a clause that allows a sack this summer wo pay off.
probably gone spend big on the summer ... easier to build a team
The q is who u gone bring in.... not Jose .. not good relation with Tiki
so u got no good manager to replace him with

After reading today's papers that the city squad are disgusted with mancini for not coming in the dressing room after the match and blanking the players, this is typical mancini behaviour some city fans have to question themselves when they are still backing him! Who do you want at the club mancini or the players.

We played fast, free-flowing football last year. Our players were aggressive, the pressing was hard, and the movement on the pitch was title-worthy. Clearly not getting RVP, Hazard and De Rossi is the reason we are not this year.

Had we only bought RVP the slow ass build-up play we are playing would have magically disappeared. And RVP shits gold bricks too.

- Roberto, why are we playing so slow?
- Because we didn't buy RVP, Hazard and De Rossi.
- Clearly.

Let's imagine for a moment that we DO sack our most successful manager ever.

Will that make ferguson and utd worse?
Will that stop Chelsea spending to improve their squad?
Will that stop the possibility of Liverpool improving next year?
Or spurs?
Or arsenal?

If the answer to all the above Q's is "no" then lets say we end up with mourinho (please god, no)..

What if utd STILL push for the title (which they will), and god forbid, win it next year? What if (as is highly likely) we get another "group of death" next season in the CL?

We shouldn't be sticking with a manager because we want a 'dynasty' or 'consistency' if the said manager isn't good enough. Just how many basic tactical errors, or man management errors can a guy be allowed before the penny drops? The line 'I know the problem and I will
fix it' is becoming a regular post fuck up quote. Thinking outside the box here but how's about sort the problem before the horse has done one hey? If the club are serious about their intentions with mcfc and they will know Mancini isn't the man to take them where they want to be.
We could be sat here next year in a very similar position, having spent millions on sacking and recruiting managers to say nothing of any player purchases.

What do we do then. Sack the new manager?

Really?

This whole debate is an embarrassment. I don't believe there are another set of fans anywhere in the world as obtuse and frankly ungrateful as some on this forum.

If what happened to the scum last year on the last day had happened to us our fans would've burnt the ground down. Their fans rallied round their manager and team and are likely to be rewarded with another title.

Hate to say this but many on here could learn a thing or two about suppiort from our hated neighbours. It's a similar story with the way our fans treated ballotelli in contrast to the way the filth treated cantona.

Embarrassing.
sorry but this is absute rubbish we've been embarrassed in the champs league and not played well all season and to top it off mancini slating players off in public something fergie would never do! If united went out of champs league like the way we did they would be calling for fergie to retire. With that said comparing mancini to fergie is ludicrous!

He's been on thin ice now since the back end of LAST season, take away the fact we won the league. That was his saving grace...
There's an understandable desire to use Aguero's goal and the incredible title win to gloss over what actually happened in the second half of last season. But the euphoria is slowly wearing off now and people are rightly starting to wonder if Mancini really is all that. Take the rags' spectacular collapse out of the equation and this season isn't too dissimilar to the one that went before it.

If he was willing to change his style to better suit the realities of the Premier League, I'd be delighted to see him remain with us for years to come. The question is, is he willing to do that? I hope so, but if not, his time might sadly be up.

You can blame the players, and they have to take a good look at themselves, but ultimately, when they have had enough of a manager, players will always underperform. It's not right, but it has always happened in the game, and always will. You don't have to like a manager, but you have to respect him. Do our players respect Mancini? We can all see how he relates to the players from his position on the touchline and what he says about them to the media. In city player interview in the media, the impression has been given that the players don't like him. Again, you don't have to like him but do they respect him? The evidence on the pitch at present is alarming. Man management along with player recruitment is in the top 3 of management skills along with tactical ability. I'm dreading the remaining 12 games.
