Mancini outers

i think while they acknowlege he's doing a good job there are a few that just don't like Mancini the person. he could win it all but never win them over.

Mancini outers? Do they even exist anymore?
I'll admit I was one. I've done a complete about turn in my opinion of him now because he's done a complete about turn in how we play. I have also completely changed my opinion on Balotelli. I am a very fickle, short-sighted, impatient and unreasonable man. Mancini has shown himself to be the perfect manager to run our club. I, however, couldn't be trusted to run a bath.

Same here. At this stage last season, i was underwhelmed with the slow pace of play we were adopting and the negative approach to some games; the Brum and Vermin back to back (IIRC) games immediately spring to mind. And I posted on here that we did have the players, if only RM would let them off the leash. Well; he has done so now and has also bought brilliantly to strengthen the squad. I was wrong about RM and I unreservedly apologise to him (I'm sure he comes on here every now and again!). Keep up the good work Bob!

Ah, you were the one then. OK problem sorted, you've clearly been reprogrammed so we can all move on.

Well done.

What about the 'Swales inners'?

Do you still want him back?

I often think of him he would have loved what's happening now although would probably be a bit jealous that it was'nt him in charge.
Swales would have hated every minute of this, he was without question one of the most egocentric men ever to role the role of chairman(and with Ken Bates also being a chairman thats saying something!)at a football club in England and even worse than that high office with the FA. Never forget thst he is the jackass that not only wouldn't hire Clough for City manager a number of times, but also hired Ron Greenwood for the England job over Clough!! People will go on about Swales being a blue, rubbish Swales supported Swales and nothing else.
As for this question, I wasn't a Mancini outer, however Mancini seemed to take a more long term view than most City managers early on the football wasn't pritty it wasn't perhaps done for short term gain but we stopped leaking goals and the last 9 months or so we are starting to see the fruits of a more considered approach to team building.

Love the guy...He puts Hughes to shame for numerous reasons but the main one being he has a plan B-plan C-plan D etc etc.

Taking Johno off against Villa at home was genius as he could quite clearly see it wasnt working. Hughes never knew how to change a game for the better.

I hope Mancini is our manager for a very very long time

For me he wanted City to be at the pinnacle of English football and we can do that this year he wanted what I want and that is good enough for me.I have no interest in what he did with England and I know he made mistake's with City but I was a young lad when I met him and he was all City as far as I am concerned.

I would agree with England, other than it shows his major flaw which was he had to be the center of the ship with those around him working for him, if he had hired Clough for either City or England it would have shown he could put his ego aside. The England one is more shocking because of the man he hired and how hopelessly mis-matched they were.

How do you feel about him at the moment? serious question because with so much of the media changing their stance i wondered if you would be giving him your full support at the moment.

i think the very few that wanted mancini out have realised that stability is the name of the game.
something we have not had since joe mercer was forced out.

long may it continue, especially as he has now got to grips with the english game.
