Mancini over Hughes?

hughes signed some good players, but also some that turned out to be crap his fault, players fault or nobodys fault
same will happen to mancini, agree with mcfcliam, let's all move on

MANCINI = CITY MANAGER
HUGHES = FULHAM MANAGER

Well I obviously agree it's time to move on. But it's interesting to think what this forum would have been like if it had been around in Saunders' time. The stick he'd have got would have been far worse than anything dished out to Hughes I reckon.

Hughes did sign Kompany and De Jong, really good signing, despite De Jong being very expensive compared to what he could have been. I'm glad we didn't gamble though.

Given, Barry, and zabaleta has been average, with zabaleta maybe as the guy above average.

Bridge has been pretty average, but I'll give him a minus.

Lescott and Rsc has been the two worst signing in the history of English football. Well I'm sure its not far off anyway, absolute garbage, I'm quite honest embarrassed like nothing ever before buy those two signings. Adebayor is pretty poor as well, Toure started off bad, but has probably risen to slightly above average.

But really there is little point in comparing, there is so many factors to take into account. The position city were in when they got appointed for instance.

Even a year after he'd gone? I'm not so sure.

These hughes haters are more obsessed than rags are about us.
It's quite funny that they need to convince themselves the club did the right thing by changing manager, desperate for Mancini to look good they put down the guy who did so well to start our rebuilding off.

Funny, funny as fuck.

Probably not because he was seemingly almost universally unpopular among the fans and players and Tony Book was entirely the opposite.

Wasn't it Mel Machin who was sacked by Swales after he claimed he had "...no repartee with the fans." The kids watching City today and moaning about Hughes don't know how lucky they are.
