Yes of course I know what I'm saying - maybe not in the league, but a dreadful pre season and spine of the team saying they can't work with him would suffice!!

I think the spade work will have been done for many months to establish if Pellegrini, or whoever, can work with this current team, what his skill set is.

A dreadful pre-season would just carry a hangover into the league.

You've started watching City around the same time as myself, so c'mon, we've not really had much to compare Mancini with.

People come and go, City is the one constant, good times and bad.

Very true tolm, but having just finished reading 'I'm not really here' I do feel we should show him loyalty - like we, the fans have shown the club through good times and bad and to be fair Mancini has brought me ALL the happiest memories from supporting the club (I obv still hold dear the Gillingham game etc!!). Of course there's no room for sentimentality in football but RM hasn't failed - if anything he excelled too soon into his contract!!

I would say Mancini has made a rod for his own back on many things, including the trophies as a early benchmark.

Mancini is actually one of the longest serving managers in the Premier League right now, the money in the game has raised the stakes incomparable to any previous era.

We are no Chelsea, albeit, their own policy has served them surprisingly well in terms of tangible trophies.

I feel Begiristain has us all at a disadvantage, he is able to assess from both within and on the pitch.

I also believe we do Mancini a disservice. He is a master footballing politician, and will know the landscape either way.

If he does move on, I will be pleased for him in the respect he will leave with his rep in good shape both here and in the wider game (if we win today of course!)

I feel another season of falling short would only blot his copybook. He can go out a winner today.

Fucking hell, I can't believe some of the stuff written on here.

It won't be a sacking, it won't be a resignation, per se.

It will be an amicable parting of the ways. We want to go in a different direction and, as I've said many times on here, if we were not going to be looking at Bob as boss for the next few years then this summer was the time a change would be made. No point with the "give him another year" argument, the wholesale changes in squad and style are starting this summer.

What will be, will be.

The rag press are doing everything possible to put the pressure on today hopeing we lose to not take the shine off baconface's party tomorrow.

That last line is a translation of "que sera sera", which is a fucking dirty rag song.

I've got my eyes on you.....

to be fair if you have looked at bobbys demeaner over this last 2 - 3 months its been awful...would be gutted to see him go if all this is true but at least it would poss be a step up not like what those clowns have got at the swamp

This is a fucking joke, lets face it we as a club are a fucking joke. I suppose the writing was in the wall when they refused bob the players he wanted last August , at the same time spurning the chance to kick on from our championship. We could, had we wanted to, have crushed the rags fergie or no fergie.

Amatures.
