What we really need to cheer us all up is that great photo of Mancini in the dugout with his eyes closed & a big grin on his face

I've not really kept up with the thread so appologies if I'm saying things others have said.

I think there is either something in the rumours or our upper management are doing something very wrong. No way should rumours of Mancini being replaced in the summer be allowed to constantly be in the papers.

If Mancini is staying then the club should make a statement along the line of 'Roberto Mancini has been the manager on Manchester City for 3 and a half years and signed a new 5 year deal last summer and rumours of the club seeking to replace him are false. The club fully backs Mr Mancini and we are looking forward to the future of the club with him as manager'. This will either stop papers making up stories on a daily basis about his future or when papers make headlines week after week about so and so being the new manager we sue them.

I think he probably will be replaced in the summer because a statement like this hasn't been made. (yes i know its not a great statement). If he is staying, a statement should have been made! Constant speculation can't be helping Mancini or the players.

Another great, reasoned argument. You're making such a contribution I implore you to stay.

Could you please sum up your contribution for us?
Deary me it's the tag team again. Do you two go everywhere with each other? It's quite sad really.

I think you'r confused pal. Pudge, we ever spoke before?
Phil, I think I may have tried to speak to you once before on this board. As a matter of fact, it was just before the game when I tried to talk you down. Slagging people off is not contributing IMO.

So you're saying if he is staying we should have made a statement, but then say you think he'll be going. Maybe that's why they haven't made a statement...?

Don't think so, I reckon he's just got us mixed up with the dozens of other posters who have called him on his personal crusade today.

As much as I like Roberto, MCFC is our club. RM is not our club in the same way Alan Ball or Brian who? are not our club. They are here to manage and if things don't go right....well at City you get sacked.

This is the way it has been for years and I guess it will be forever as I have never known any different.

M7MCFC, signing off not in a fit state, love you all.....MCFC.....OK

Put it this way if he is staying then the board are in the wrong but if he isn't then why would the board come out and tell lies to the fans just to keep everyone happy until the end of the season. It has not really been ideal for them if he is going as they wouldn't want to disrupt the end of the season by saying he's going.
