Mancini Removed From The Stadium

All this for a poster outside the stadium?

Mancini might have ordered it to be taken down? Is Mancini still displayed on the Stadium Tour?? No City fan will forget Mancini, but a new era has started, history is history.

Its like looking at the old, past it, ex-wife, when my new, hot, young sexy 2nd wife is playing ....

I think under the circumstances, with the new season starting with a new manager, and Mancini's tenure ending in a strained and unfortunate manner to put it mildly, it's not really that big a deal if a poster of him has been taken down.

I actually agree with a few people who have said that the time will come when he will take pride of place in our hall of fame for the trophies he brought. That time however, isn't a few months after he was unceremoniously sacked.
All fair comment Billy.

I don't think Mancini could give a fuck either way to be honest so if he's not arsed then why is anyone else?

How on earth would you know that?

You think he is sat back home in Italy, despondent at the thought of his poster being taken down or do you think he is busy going about his life, money in the bank and not a care in the world?

Probably because Mancini doesnt come across as somebody who lets insignificant things bother him. The few on here who genuinely think his picture being removed is some sort of slight on his tenure at the club are reading far too much into this.

He is as deserving of a place in our hall of fame as any other individual, including Joe. I'll never forget him for getting those who used to mock us to take down that banner - and for May 13th.

A quiet hiatus, respectful of the new regime isn't gong to diminish his achievements one iota, especially in the minds of the vast majority City fans.

An educated guess.

It's a lovely thought to think Roberto is out there now in his sky blue and white scarf thinking about his time at City. But he very probably isn't.

None of which means I dislike him or have any ill feeling towards him in anyway.

I don't need a giant photo of him forced on me every time I go to COMS to remind me of what he achieved.
