You only have to think about Malcolm Allison, who ripped the club apart in his second spell here but with the passage of time we remember him mainly for the good things he did for us.

As I've already said, I've left the Mancini-bashing behind as it's so counter-productive. There's no doubt he was a difficult character. There's no doubt he got things wrong. People like Maley and Wild might have been similar but all we see now is the bare stats and ultimately Mancini's will say he won the FA Cup and the PL to end a 36 year trophy drought.

I think under the circumstances, with the new season starting with a new manager, and Mancini's tenure ending in a strained and unfortunate manner to put it mildly, it's not really that big a deal if a poster of him has been taken down.

I actually agree with a few people who have said that the time will come when he will take pride of place in our hall of fame for the trophies he brought. That time however, isn't a few months after he was unceremoniously sacked.

I loved him to bits and defended him to the last but I'm not arsed that the Club has taken a few photo's down. Pretty sure that he isn't either.
