Carlos Tevez is Manchester City's 'Special One' say his team-mates, who are imploring him to stay at Eastlands.
Tevez met manager Roberto Mancini at City's Carrington training complex on Friday night to discuss the Argentine's transfer request.
But it emerged on Friday that Tevez has a new nickname among the City squad which shows just how important Mancini's players think the club captain is to future success.

Defender Micah Richards said: 'I'm confident he will stay. He's a big part of our team. I think they will get it sorted out and the sooner, the better.
'Carlos is our Special One and we need him in our team. We all know that. We need him if we want to achieve what we want to achieve.'
Special One was the label that the famously immodest Jose Mourinho gave himself at Chelsea. Now Mourinho has become the first manager to express an interest in taking Tevez, the Real Madrid boss placing him on a wish list that also includes City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
It is understood that Tevez is unlikely to head to Madrid, though, and City have not given up hope of persuading him to stay.
Sportsmail understands that the discussions between Tevez and Mancini were amicable and that the striker will play against Everton in the Barclays Premier League on Monday night.
Tevez's mentor Kia Joorabchian will not decide on his next move until he learns of the outcome. If Mancini strips Tevez of the captaincy, Sportsmail understands Vincent Kompany would be first in line to wear the armband at Eastlands.
Richards, who captained an under-strength City side in their 1-1 draw at Juventus, said: 'I don't think it's anything to do with Man City, to be honest.

'He's said previously that he's tired and stuff like that. He made his debut when he was 15 or 16 and he's missing his family back home. But I'm sure it will be resolved sooner rather than later.
'He's been just the same recently. He's got his opinions and stuff, but I'm sure we can keep him until the end of the season at least. We're doing well in the League, we're top of our group in Europe. It's going well for us and he's a big part of what we're trying to do, so hopefully he'll stay.
'The dressing room is fine and there's no problem. He's a bubbly character and he's always laughing and joking in training. Hopefully it can be sorted out.'
Mancini has indicated that Tevez will play against Everton but he is still considering whether he will stay as captain. City's football administrator Brian Marwood is confident Tevez will stay.
'The statement put out earlier in the week, we've not wavered from that, ' Marwood told Sky Sports News.
'Carlos has three-and-a-half years on his contract, we've rejected his transfer request and he's come into training and been extremely professional.
'He's conducted himself very well, we're very pleased with his attitude and application, and I don't see that changing. As a group we're looking forward to Everton on Monday night.'

The Argentine has scored 39 goals in 60 appearances for City since his controversial move from rivals United, and Marwood admitted he is a key player whom City do not want to lose. But he also believes the issue will not unsettle City's bid for silverware.
'You can't deny his goalscoring record in terms of games played, but we have an important group that will stick together and we're very pleased with the characters and personalities in that dressing room. We've no worries about how they'll react. They'll be extremely professional,' he said.
'You saw no reaction in Turin and we don't expect any against Everton.
'Carlos has a huge part to play in the future of this club. That was the case before he made his transfer request and that doesn't change after he's made it.
