Mancini Thread (no City stuff)

Re: Mancini @ Galatasary Thread (no City stuff)

if he did go there in would impact greatly to other teams in the region, including ones with lots of money but sometimes makes managerial errors.

I think leonardo might go to spurs.

sorry just though I'd pop that in.
Agree with that.
When he appeared on MOTD it came across as an infomercial to prospective employers IMO.

Just thinking the AC Milan job will probably be up for grabs in the summer. Him and Balotelli could rekindle the "relationship"

Re: Mancini @ Galatasary Thread (no City stuff)

Milan need a spine and a few players telling they have no right to be successful. Bobs yer man.

the simple truth i that if the rags approached him he would talk to them. he will still be very respectful of us as fans, but he will want to prove a point to the MCFC owners and playing staff. the very thing we didnt want(hard as nails boss nor giving a fuck who anyone is) is just what the rags need now

that 6-1 cut them very deeply and left a scar, hiring him will help the healing.

you have a point in that he might listen to an approach, but do you really think Manciti would actually contemplate going to ManUre?

- and wouldn't it have to be an absolutely *incredible* offer, and if we leave sentimental reasons out of it - because I genuinely think as a passionate footballing man he wouldn't consider ManUre (and he's always gone for the more disadvantaged position, and done things the hard way) but would their directors even think of a manager like him as being in the mould of the kind of manager they'd wish to appoint?

before Manciti would even appear on their radar I think they'd be a whole host of other managers ahead of him, Mourinho being another (extremely unlikely) one.

think of the situation this way (from a prospective new managers point of view) - the amount of power you will wield at the rags would be unrivaled in the premier league. the right guy will have all the aces up his sleeve from the very beginning. the rags are in a mess and need a saviour, quickly.

given that situation ANY manager that is approached would be interested.

Bad career move from Bob, clearly not the manager we once thought he was.

At least Gala won't be interested in your manager - Wee Davey - who Talkshite just reported is on the way out!!

Haha, my favourite response from the Macini-obsessed bunch. Why would I be criticising Mancini if I was a United fan? Wouldn't I spend more time getting on Pelligrini's back. Use your head on this one.

3rd in the league with Gala is pretty poor. They've got the best players comfortably.

Re: Mancini Thread

Well, for those still interested, Besiktas suffered a defeat away to Sivasspor whilst Galatasaray won away to Elazigspor. The win puts Bob back up to second place in the League and Elazigspor's cause was not helped when Kayhan was sent off in the 71st minute following a second yellow. Fenerbahce confirmed what we expected - the league title - with a 0-0 at home to Rizespor.

27/04….Sivasspor (6).............3-0……...Besiktas (2)
27/04….Elazigspor (15).………0-1….…..Galatasaray (3)
27/04....Fenerbahce (1).........0-0.........Rizespor (12)

Table:

1)…Fenerbahce…..31…..21…..5…..5…..68…..+37
2)…Galatasaray…..31…..15…11…..5…..56…..+22
3)…Besiktas………..31…..15…10…..6…..55…..+18

I'll not bother with Fenerbahce's results anymore and focus on Galatasaray & Besiktas for the last 3 games of the season.

Next matches:

03/05….Besiktas (3)...............vs……...Kasimpasa (6)
03/05….Galatasaray (2).........vs.........Genclerbirligi (8)
