You know what we're trying to achieve. You also know that we're trying to fix a problem that nobody likes and it will take a period of pretty heavy handedness before that point scoring bullshit stops because it's gone so unregulated in the past.

I'd like to thank you for making this more difficult than it needs to be. It's a big help.

For bickering and arguing and point scoring and some dogs abuse, spend an hour or so in the Cellar!

That's not strictly true.
What if I happen to be offline at the time?

One of your lieutenants will step up to the plate ;-)

Latest from Super Lig

Gap is now down to 7pts after Fenerbahce's shock slip up away to Eskisehirspor. Galatasaray went nap banging in 6 goals against Bursaspor, making a complete mockery of my "…Mancini…defensive…" comments last time! A hat rick from perennial rag target Wesley Sneijder, and goals from Emanuel Eboue, Didier Drogba and Selcuk Inan sealed the win.

Results for the top 4:

01/02….Kayserispor (18)…..….0-0…..Kasimpasa (4)
01/02….Eskisehirspor (7)……..2-1…..Fenerbahce (1)
02/02….Konyaspor (14)….…….3-0…..Sivasspor (3)
02/02….Galatasaray (2)………..6-0…..Bursaspor (8)

Besiktas won on the Friday night and have leapt into 3rd place. What that does to the table is:

1)…Fenerbahce…19…14…..2….3….44…..+24
2)…Galatasaray…19….10….7….2….37…..+17
3)…Besiktas..…….18….9…...6….3….33…..+13
4)…Sivasspor…….19….10….2….3….32…..+8

Next games are:

07/02….Gazientepspor (11)…..….vs……..Besiktas (3)
08/02….Galatasaray (2)…………….vs……..Eskisehirspor (5)
09/02….Sivasspor (4)….…………….vs….....Fenerbahce (1)

2nd place and the CL quarters represents a good achievement so far in this first season over there. I remember seeing Sneidjer linked as leaving in this summer and I can't imagine Drogba will stay around for long so it will be interesting to see how he deals with this and builds his team.

At all of his clubs so far, Lazio, Fiorentina, Inter and City, he has never had such a stockpile of his talent in players coming to the end of their career so replacing them will be a new challenge for him

Agreed. Will be interesting to see who, and importantly how, he entices over to Turkey. He'll have Champions League to offer them, I'd expect but other than that, it's not exactly a "glamorous" league is it?

Re: Mancini Thread

Thanks for updating 'Bow. A quick look at the table shows they've also got the best defensive record as well as being second in the league.
