Would you have predicted losing the FA Cup Final to a relegated Club one year on?

Bungling by the Board lost us the Cup Final as much as Mancini and the players. Surrendering a massive crowd advantage (that should have meant a brilliant atmosphere) by underming the manager on the day of the Final means the Spanish duo need to deliver a cup before they have even got off the starting block.

Do Those of you celebrating Mancini's departure stab your Colleagues in the back on a regular basis or do you just encourage that behaviour at City.

Jeez you're easily pleased fella.

One thing to be said about Dave is yes, such was his conviction in his opinion of Bob, he would have wrote it.

He enjoyed that day as much as any of us and to suggest otherwise is frankly fucking ridiculous and smacks of someone who can only attack the poster rather than his argument.

Why labour the point though pal?? Jesus he has gone,inners not happy outers happy. We get on with it as a club as supporters together. I haven't seen an article by one inner saying why we should have kept Mancini so why should there be an article justifying his departure?
We should all just move on but for Dave to try to sort of say "I told you so" then I just really don't get it.

Dave is a big lad and can look after himself.

I just answered a post claiming he wouldn't have written such a piece after we won the league, when we have all known his stance on Bob and that even then, despite being as happy as any other blue, he felt the exact same way about Bob as he does to this day.

He never rated the guy.

I'm not surprised. So was the film. Can't see the dialogue transferring to print well at all.

so why didnt he ?? but we all know that....Its all about timing..bad timing back then, perfect timing today,24 hrs after Bob get sacked..This was done for the reaction its getting..some react to the blog some react to the writer...Dave knows the score...

The same blog wouldnt get a sideways glance if it were done in say..3 months time..

The hurt is still very strong amongst the majority on here who wanted Bob to stay....The Blog was aimed at us..the hearts on our sleeves posse..

But he says chinese whispers etc. He may never have rated the guy (fuck me,I'd love to know Daves views on every manager we have had since Mercer) but why feel the need to literally write a piece stabbing him in the back.
I will be eternally grateful to Mancini and for the success he brought to us domestically which we all craved for 35yrs.
To write a piece like that is unjustified IMO but that is all it is-my opinion.

Everyone has their opinions about our old boss.
What I will say is that Dave has obviously sat down, had a think, and written a good article based on his opinion. And it makes complete sense and good reading. I'm sure their is someone on here who could make just as good an article while appreciating what Mancini did do for us.
It would be great if everyone on here could be as succinct as Dave when posting, rather than just offering poorly punctuated one liners and calling everybody rags.
