Instead of sticking the knife in with the FA Cup still to be won, and the Champions League qualification to be secured, how about we support the team, stop giving ammunition to the enemies and see what the rest of the season brings.

Our performance over the rest of the season will be the deciding factor anyway.

Who do you want to bring in instead?

Real question.

Congratulations to the Barclays Manager of the Month for April, Roberto Martinez. The Wigan boss picks up the first monthly award of his career after masterminding wins over Man Utd, Arsenal and Newcastle in April to lift the Latics out of the Barclays Premier League relegation zone.

Exactly. Some of the stuff on this thread is embarrassing.

Too much sense on here this morning.

You do realise the Mancini-haters will be after you?

"The worst enemy is one whose doctrines are founded in hate and are thus beyond debate" - TOBSHA LEARNER, The Witch of Cologne

Sums them up nicely.

The fact that Mancini's name is sung loud and proud at most matches suggest Bluemoon isn't representative of most match-going blues anyway

Stab in the dark but would the fact our owners gave Mancini a five year deal indicate they are happy with him and him us?

Thought so.

An eminently sensible and logical statement, therefore one which clearly has no place on this thread.
This is the parallel universe that is Bluemoon, where nothing is ever as it seems, and there is subtext, plotting and hidden meaning behind everything.
If an employer gave me a five year contract, then obviously I would start looking for another job immediately, because there simply couldn't be a more blatant sign that my P45 was on the way, especially given that a few folk on an internet website have suggested virtually every living manager for a vacancy that doesn't actually exist, and will probably move on to exhuming the corpse of Alan Ball before long and scrutinising his cv.
Alan ball's cv is used by inspirational, motivational life coaches. It proves that even with a record as shit as his, you can still get to manage one of the country's biggest clubs*. It proves there's hope for everyone.

* - as long as your mate is the chairman.

Nah - they're too busy making their "Mancini Out" banners and coming up with new chants for the next home game.

Mancini - whoa-oah, Mancini - whoa-oah
He came from Italy,
His tactics upset me,
Mancini! Whoa-oah

Sung loud and proud no doubt as everyone around them feels the same.....
