Kenobi, what can one really say about someone who cannot the fathom the difference to an employee between his boss and a customer?

He's still at school?

Do you seriously think that infantile jibes like this further your cause?
This latest childish example, your throwaway 'playground' comment of a page ago,and your fellow Exeter 'outer' calling those with the temerity to disagree with him 'melon heads' actually makes you look an awful lot more immature than those you decry.

Of course, the opportunity to disprove the 'melon heads' jibe, by actually clarifying how Mancini slagging his players off in public can be anything other than detrimental to performance, is open to you. Or you could just dodge the issue by indulging in a spot of faux outrage. The choice is yours......

Very droll. And withe refernce to your previous list
Klopp, Heynckes, Hiddink, Valverde, Pellegrini, Benitez, Mazzarri, Conte, Ancelotti, Bielsa, Scolari, Klinsman, Deschamps, Guardiola, etc.

Benitez, Bielsa, Scolari, Klinsmann and Deschamps have very large egos.

Yes, stupid me, after all, of course YOU would know, having personally measured them.

You really are a prize twat. Insult intended. I don´t know these guys pesonally but have listened to them regularly, seen their body language and come to the conclusion that they just like Mancini have large egos and don´t suffer fools gladly.

Really? You can tell whether or not they "suffer fools gladly" and stuff like that? Can you discern what their favorite colors are, or whether or not they obey the speed limit while driving?

What can one really say about someone who can't fathom the difference between a 'customer' and a 'football supporter' oh dear I think that says all we need to know about 'OB1' and 'Blue Heaven' who seemingly only joined the forum to slag Mancini. What's that I can smell.....

Given that OB1 has over 2000 posts to his name, going back long before Mancini joined the club, I'm gonna take a guess that the smell is that of your argument crashing and burning (again)

It's not meant to further any cause, it's a (gentle) dig at someone who dismissed what happened in the 60's because they weren't born then...

Thanks for the support Nijinsky but tbh I always think when someone feels the need to throw juvenile insults around its simply a sign that they have lost the argument and have nothing else worthy to say. If you think something is ridiculous then simply don't respond.

It's a shame that people feel the need to respond like that but it has zero impact on me and I shall continue to make the points that I believe in, although try not to spam the board in the same way as some others I could mention.

You've committed a crime with the 'melon heads' jibe, but according to him, it's also perfectly acceptable for Bobby Bluster to humiliate his players in the world media. So much for consistency.

-- Mon Apr 01, 2013 4:41 am --

I think it's a darn shame that he didn't have the decency to identify which particular type of melon your head resembles. After all, even if your head doesn't really resemble a watermelon, it doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't resemble a cantaloupe, for instance...

You're the one going around claiming that Bobby has a large ego and doesn't suffer fools gladly.

I believe the majority of the faux outrage produced today eminates from a handful of posters who have used an interview where Mancini was clearly smiling and joking talking about wanting to punch Nasri and turned it into a scenario where if I'd not seen it myself, I'd be thinking he was stamping his feet, banging the table and resembling an unhappy rumplestiltskin who's just realised he's been conned.
As far as the Kompany situation goes - again it come down to your own interpretation. I believe Mancini was right to be upset at the thought of Vinnie going away and coming back injured, and he was right to stress his point - that said its done and dusted now and if he carries a grudge against Kompany then that may be a battle that he finds hard to win.
Fortunately both men are born winners and I'm confident they can put the whole episode behind them.

Am I confused? Or are you just fuckin around here. You gave a list of managers that you thought didn´t had Mancini´s big ego. I and several others stated that your list contained some ego´s every bit as large as Mancini´s. You then posed the question how did I know about these guys traits. And my answer is basically that I use the same medium as you do when it comes to assessing Mancini. ie televison , the written word etc
