Kompany didn't do anything wrong...yet you said he broke club rules

And you are being arsey about being pulled up?

You for real?
I am for real mate and I was being polite as to not pick holes. Being pedantic though, where did I say 'He broke club rules'? What I said was he went against the manager and therefore against the club. Last time I looked the manager comes first, doesn't he? Or do we now have a 25 man squad who can do whatever they want; what were your thoughts on Tevez?

So again, if you are the manager and one of your staff go against what you say, is that OK?
There are no club rules re this, the club are actually actively promoting our players playing for their nations

What kompany did was up to him, and Mancini didn't like it.

He needs to man up, because every day there is a story about him behaving.like a child and shedding our club in a negative light.

Fair enough having rows with children like Balo etc...but when he is arguing and falling out with a player and man like kompany...even the most ardent Mancini fan has got to question our managers attitude and man management
I actually agree with you mate but why is always about Mancini? Vinnie has been out for 2 months (in which we've dropped about 10 points) and we need him for the run in. What's your thoughts there?

To be fair mate, i think that if kompany thought that there was any chance of an injury to resurface then he wouldn't play

He is a gem of a player but an even bigger gem of a man and very intellegant.

He knows that the club need him.

Again, I agree but that's not how a manager would see it. That's the point here.

slur alecsh criticised his players on tv today

only one trophy for them to go for now to save their season despite all that money they have spent for decades

disappointing in europe too

mancini was a 100% right, kompany put the rest of his season at risk,he should of told the belgium manager that he would play 45 mins top,he had no right to risk injury,he has been out for 8 weeks,he wont be 100% after such a long time out.

he was lucky he got away without injury, imagine if he had done himself harm in the 89th minute ? would people still say he was right to play 90mins ?

Vinny was fit to play, and I trust him enough to know that if he hadn't been fit to play he wouldn't have played. Obviously Mancini trusts him a lot less than I do, and his public criticism of him was bang out of order.

Wrong place; should be on the General footy forum.

Cos I assume this isn't an attempt to compare Mancinis record & position with us, and fergusons with them.

Sorry mate but when you haven't played for two months you don't come back and play a full 90 minutes straight away, had it been managed correctly he would have played 60 minutes max. To play any more he was running an additional risk and Mancini was right to be pissed off. Whether he was pissed off with Vinny or more likely the Belgian manager he was quite within his rights to say he was pissed off.

This is even more true when he knows how important he is to the club and there are people around the club sharpening their knives.

I must admit I was very disappointed with Vinny myself although he was in an impossible position.

Are we seriously referring to this as an argument or falling out?

Mancini was very complimentary toward VK in the post match presser.
