Had a chat with a journalist mate today. I commented that Mancini appears to no longer give a fuck about anything but the here and now. Make of that what you will - I've certainly drawn my own conclusion. What's ironic is that we both agreed that vinny could finish Mancini off with an exposé, but my friend reminded me that vinny will have the right ' ears' regardless.

I'd say this little piece is just a little shot back from an angry vinny.

It's about time Ferran and Txiki got involved with all this. If Bob is trying to sign his own death warrant then we really need to nip this in the bud. As you said it's crazy that Bob has used a press conference to spill his guts once again, causing a rift with our skipper and leader. I said the other day that Bob was forcing a "back me/sack me", sounds to me like he just wants to ensure he gets max payoff at the moment.
I'm not sure it's a 'back me or sack me' approach, Rammy. Whilst I don't see Mancini as the sharpest knife in the drawer, he surely knows that vinny is the wrong enemy to make, regardless. It's even worse than him falling out with hart.

I honestly think he's just doing his time and not holding back. It doesn't seem like the players are holding back much anymore either.

I just hope he and they can hold it together to get past Chelsea because its all that's left this season now.

Hopefully Vinnie will give the teamtalk again and we can pull through the semi

There's something very strange going on at City at the moment, and I'm not trying to entertain debate by saying it.
Even by Bob's usual abrasive style, this is on a completely new level.
I just can't get my head around it. Whether "you" are an outer or inner or fencesitter it just doesn't sit right.

I thought it was obvious. There will be a large turnover of players in the summer. At least 4 out and around 6 in and Only those who give it all for the cause will still be here at the end of July.

It's what he does, his sense of righteousness ans self importance knows no bounds. If his diatribes offend you, best just to ignore them. I'm a little tired of him telling decent posters they no little about football but, hey ho, pot , kettle , black. I just tend to read the posters with a balanced view and just ignore the blinkered.
Haha

There you go, Rammy. I said it would be my fault by 11 o'clock and, an hour and ten minutes early, there you have it...;-)

Pompous prick.

LOL, don't let it wind u up mate. He usually says "why you making this thread about me".

Poor sod needs to get his wick wet.

Think a good wank is his only hope there bud.

F*ck me, I've always enjoyed this thread but what I'm reading over the last 10 pages or so is just beyond. The Mail, The Sun, The F*cking Daily Mirror, it's like the Rag shop has hit town big time.

Just a thought, on the Kompany snub. It was already agreed that he'd play the 60. No tension, no problem.

However, the media, and the same on here will ply any story to get their goal as they have lost the argument.

PS. Mancini is here for a while, get used to it. I'm off on my jollies ;)

Don't worry, this Island of lost souls will still be here when you get back, by that time we'll have a photoshop of Mancini and Kim Jong-un urinating on a pic of Sami Nasri

Of course no player is bigger than the club, and for that reason, in arguments you normally stand by the manager.

But when it comes to the club captain, now being the latest in a growing line of fall outs with Mancini, even the most staunch Mancini supporters really have to question his management skills.
There is just no need to have this amount of fall outs.

And the 'creates a state of creative tension' is the most pathetic straw clutching excuse I have ever heard to defend Mancinis inability to man manage players. The players play as a big 'fuck you' to Mancini!!?? So what happens when Mancini wants to put any form of tactics into play...? Playing as a 'fuck you' might work in the short term, but no way is it a long term strategy.

So you would be happy if Vince was one of the players to go?
