Shame some of our fans can't.

You really do resent our fans a lot. These are some of your earliest posts on this forum.

I hate the boo boys; pr*cks of the highest order. We are only one game into the season and they are already at it !

Some of our 'supporters' - should I be sued under the trades descriptions act for that statement - beggar belief.

If you accept that negativity, booing and slagging your own players does nothing for the team and assuming that fundamentally our goals and aspirations for the club are the same - ie we want to see the team win then why oh why do certain sections of our support appear to turn up and can't wait to start spouting their vitriol at the players and team ? It is abaolutely at odds with what you want, so why do it ?

I remember several weeks ago loud chants for Benjani when he wasn't even in the team and now he's been playing for a few weeks those chants have died a death as we remember exactly what he is really like.

At the last derby at the swamp I was in the United end and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed not only the result but slagging off any of their players for the slightest mistake. It was thoroughly cathartic and helped contribute to a sh*te atmosphere.

Therefore, can I make a suggestion. If you really want to make a positive impact for City then go to OT and take out your pent up frustration and anger on those b*stards from across the road.

The advantage that playing at home provides is clear and proven throuhout generations of football. Yes, you can find the odd anomoly but that is usually where the home crowd become poisonous and vitriolic and players become nervous of playing in front of their own fans but generally the advantage that playing at home provides is absolutely clear.

Therefore if you 'support' MCFC then FFS get behind the team - lets save the debate and criticism if that's what you get off on for these sort of forums. If you don't you are clearly an enemy to yourself.

This team is better than our league position suggests and now is the time to get behind the team.

Why are we City fans so negative against our chances all the time ? We are holding ourselves back, it's crazy.

Blue Mooner said:
The short sightedness of some City fans is actually quite frightening. We are on the dawn of a new era and yet some City fans still can't seem to shake the negativity !

Blue Mooner said:
Couldn't agree more, knee jerk panicky reactions are no way to run a successful football club imo.

Now you might well be ticking a lot of boxes with those posts. However you only seem to appear and want to chat when a manager's in question, or when there's a chance to stick the boot into your fellow supporters. I haven't bothered to repost something you said about Allardyce around the time of Hughes' sacking. It's hilarious that your defence of Mancini is almost verbatim the same shit you posted to defend Hughes. The same snide jibes about how shit our supporters are coupled with the same inane comments about how Mourinho will never come to City because we're not big enough.

Why is that a problem DD? are our players little boys who need cuddles from their mummies?

Mancini is reminding Vincent and the Belgians about who pays VK's wages. Red Nose does it all the time to National managers and United players. So what is exactly the problem? Or is Sour Alex a shite manager too (I wish)?

It's a problem because its splattered all over the press, for a start. None of us know how this has affected kompany or the squad he leads, either, but I defy anyone to come on here and claim that has in some way motivated them.

The irony is that, whilst Mancini can and does flex his muscles, he's playing it dangerous here. Vinny could.finish Mancini tomorrow if he wanted with a well placed interview. Not sure Mancini would even win a power struggle.

I don't think he'd stoop that low of course. He's too professional. I guess today is just a little jab back that doesn't ultimately have him as the direct source.

As much as I like Vinnie ,I really don't like this attitude .He was an average player before Mancini took over and not a pleasant way to be thankful to a person who made him a class player.

Is this the same Kompany, before injury,in his teens, every top team in the world was scouting,as he was truly exceptional?

He was never average, especially his attitude...... not even close.

Don't worry, this Island of lost souls will still be here when you get back, by that time we'll have a photoshop of Mancini and Kim Jong-un urinating on a pic of Sami Nasri

Bobby and Kim Jong-un are fellow diplomats, are they not? Two eminently reasonable men who make only the most measured of pronouncements.

Strange that Mancini is such a bad man manager yet Kompany committed a 6 year contract to the club whilst under his management.

Kompany's mrs is mancunian born and bred so I think he will be happy to stay a while longer.

Manager and player in disagreement shocker! Ycnmiu so they had a disagreement mancio reminded him who is boss. I'm sure both of them are adult enough to move on. Shame some of our fans can't.

At the wages Vinny was offered on a long-term deal, his signing was an inevitability. It doesn't mean that he can't, or won't, be moved on.

Mmmm so Vinny doesn't like the man management skills of Mancini so commits himself for 6 years!? Versus running your contract down, having no transfer fee and effectively being able to add any transfer fee, or a proportion of, on top of any wages!? Add in the fact he is probably one of the most sought after defenders, he could have commanded top dollar from anyone.

Strange logic for a man who doesn't like the managers managerial style?

He could be sold but it would only be at the clubs choosing and for a fee we are happy with.

If, as alleged, Vinny has a problem with Bobby, we don't know when it began, before or after his contract was signed.

-- Tue Apr 02, 2013 4:40 pm --

Bobby has attacked the player personally, by name. That's the difference.

Having clicked on your name last week and seen the dozens of topics you start bitching about our fans it's no Great surprise to see you going down that road again.

Now let me just make this abundantly clear. The problem is not Mancini having a problem with kompany. The problem is Mancini choosing to go public with that problem. Do you understand there is a difference here? If you don't , I suggest you keep a close eye on tomorrow's papers.

Have a look at them, and ask yourself if this problem wouldn't have been better addresses behind closed doors. If your answer is 'yes it would' then Mancini has made a cock up.

Should you, at some point, manage to traverse the channel tunnel and grace us with your presence at The Etihad you may well witness the wholehearted support the majority of match going blues give our Bobby.

The funny thing about this post is if I change it to say "isn't"^. It applies directly to everyone who doesn't want Mancini here.

Can't believe this threads still going, some absolute shit wrote about Mancini, get it in to your thick fucking heads mancini's here for at least the next 3 years.

I don't know how some of you see this in relation, but publicly criticizing Nasri seemed to have fired him up.
