Mancini's selection and tactics

I have faith in Bobby - It is too early to judge Garcia as many players take time to adapt.

Exactly, this goes for all our new signings. You'll only be able to start making a real judgement on these players come Christmas.

Tomorrow night is a big test for Mancini's decision making on team selection and tactics. Instinctively I'd expect him to want to dominate the match, and I'd expect Dortmund to sit back and play on the counter. It's imperative though if that is the case, that we aren't as exposed on the counter as we have been since the season started. Almost impossible to predict what the team will be, but lets hope the system is the same hybrid 4231 as we played at Fulham rather than 352 or 442, both of which could leave us too exposed IMO.

Yep. He'll be desperate for a result in this one.

I'd go with the same personnel and same formation at the weekend, but I'd put Lescott in for Nastasic. Maybe rest one or two for the Sunderland game.

He's not the only one who is desperate believe me. The Guess the Team Competition proves conclusively that it is almost impossible to predict Mancini's line ups - there is always a shock selection. I fancy Milner will be brought in from the cold this time.

Wouldn't be a bad shout

Zaba--Nasty-Komps--Clichy
--------Yaya--Barry---------
--Milner----Tevez----Silva
------------Dzeko------------

Save Lescott,Aguero,Garcia and Nasri for Sunderland.

if Milner comes in I'd say it would be Tevez who losses out. Totally agree there's always a surprise, especially in europe. Kolo? Gulp.

There'll be no "saving" tomorrow night. It's arguably our most important game in the group, we need a full strength side out.

I wouldn't worry about Kolo since he isn't on City's euro squad
