Both are good defenders. We just need to stop teams raping us down the left side. Gary Neville mentioned this was our weak spot 3 years ago, saying that's where he would target city. It seems like every manager is finally realising this, we need it sorting quickly.

Ah.....when Kolerov plays James Milner always in front of him. When Clichy plays he has Silva in front of him, which means no-one.

Demi as number 1 in the short run, with Mangala getting plenty of game time until his form and consistency force him into the top slot.

We were told he wasn't the finished article and that is true. So no need to panic if he makes the odd error as he settles in.

Martin Demichelis deserves to be in the starting XI on merit.

Forget how much we spent on Mangala, forget how good he might turn out to be in the future...Martin Demichelis deserves to be playing in our back four next to Kompany at this moment in time.

It's got to be Martin on Sunday.
We can't pick players just because of the size of their transfer fee.
Mangala has been bought for the long term but the team has to be picked on merit.
Currently Martin is ahead of him however good he may (or may not) turn out to be in the future.
