True. I guess Laporte isn't the most durable either.Stones, Dias, Ake all prone to injury.

If only .......... 'OOOO Curly Wurly"Keith Curle vibes.
Spuds is at home.
more reason to cover CB's hoof flick son goalSpuds is at home.
Signing him now with the intention to let Ake go in either January or the summer?
£15 million for an unknown is pretty scary . The £20 million we have paid has to be accounted for . Going out and blowing £30 million on Dortmunds fifth choice centre back is a gamble especially as the £40 million price tag could be used elsewhere .
But, ultimately,if Pep and Txiki think he’s worth £50 million then the £60 million price agreed is a bargain.
Not sure I agree with this, Pep rates and loves Ake, rightly so in my humble opinion.Signing him now with the intention to let Ake go in either January or the summer?
So sign a player for one game? Except for a 3 CB system, I can't see us keeping all 5 happy. One of Ake, Stones and Akanji is going to go into the next summer not at all happy with their playing time.We have Spurs at home in 2 weeks, lets say Dias picks up an injury and we're left with Stones & Mbete.
That's a lot to ask of a young kid with no experience. Akanji has plenty of experience, is a physical presence and Mbete gets a good loan to the Championship, like Doyle, McAtee and Delap got, all of whom are highly rated.
Or they are inexperienced teenagers, one of whom is coming off the back of two injury ravaged yearswe pay £15m for a player who might be playing in case 2 or 3 other guys are injured..seems Mbete or the other CBs on loan/EDS/CFG aren`t rated at all..
Maguire rarely gets injured?True. I guess Laporte isn't the most durable either.
