Q&A for Pellegrini

Do you practice corners in training?

Do you have any tactical plan or do you just hope that the natural talent of the players will win the game?

Do you feel you can motivate the players?

Why drop players who are in form?

Best two players against Chelsea were arguably Milner and Navas. Both dropped.

Weird.

I always supported Pellegrini but I'm losing the faith in him.
I`m not..
don`t worry about a thing...
he`ll turn it around,we`re having a blip, every team does it but because we`re the champs it`s highlighted more and more pressure is put on..
we`ll come out of it laughing believe me,once all the players are back and firing on all cylinders we`ll blow everybody away..
just wait and see, pellers will have the last laugh...

Most of this season is blip mate, the scoreboard is flattering us as we nicked some results during festive period.

Simeone won't ever be City manager. You've not been paying attention if you think he's even in contention.

I think he needs to be in the conversation. Right now, winning is more important than cosmetic concerns like how our manager speaks in public.

And if winning isn't the main concern, then the decision-makers have to be replaced. With the amount of money invested, it is inexcusable to be out of all domestic competitions by early February.

FOOLISH to say he wont be manager due to his style of play
His side just beat REAL MADRID 4-0 today, as well as keeping clean sheets, they have real pace and tempo in their counter attacking. Too many people think Simeone is some aggressive thug who cant produce a technical side. They DEMOLISHED chelsea at the bridge last year in a manner city or barca havent ever been able to over the past decade. We should be on the phone and offering the guy 5 million to take the job, followed by Godin, Koke and Turan...

Watched Spurs-Arsenal today, it was clear that Arse had very similar strategy they had against us. But Spurs were really different from City. They were fighting, wanted every second ball, had intensity (clearly big rivalry helped in this case), had pace, they wanted to test their keeper unlike us, Arse were not really any special, what we did tho we made them look good, made Wenger walk away with a great tactical plan. Like Bruce today.

We should play teams like Spurs tho that have intensity, open up enough at the back even when they have 35% posession only. Thats why we can beat them at home usually. But when they meet a defensive team they dont want to try to pass them around slowly they go at them.
We do it only when the house is already burning, we already conceded one or two, than we start to raise tempo fight for balls etc.

Most of our players struggle to look interested on a good day; apart from a handful at best there's not a lot of them who get stuck in/graft for the team.

That's a fundamental principle for a Simeone team, he'd be like a lamb to the slaughter if he came here.

hey manuel.

how about picking the same fucking team for 2 games running. and stop chopping and changing every fucking week you dick.

Its understandable when you have 2 games a week all the time but we are left with the league and CL now and a very strong squad and we have to pick the best 11 week in, week out.

Pretty sure he gonna change defence again, Kolarov, Sagna comes in for Stoke maybe even Mangala so 2 or 3 changes for defence.

Dont know why tho, Chelsea goes 90% of the time with Azpilicueta-Terry-Cahill-Ivanovic. Maybe they gonna be really tired for last 10 rounds while our defenders will be fresh. Ma sure the gap is smaller than 10 tho until we reach last few rounds.
